It's sad to see "You're too slow," "Come on, step it up," and "What's the matter, scared?" get nixed. Wario's "Wah, wah, wah!" is also too fast. Pikachu's "Pika pika!" taunt, where he waves, just gets cut off. They wanted to make the taunts faster so they made sense when cancelled, I think, but still. It doesn't need to flow perfectly; a taunt isn't meant to be quick or strategic, it's just to tease.

I also feel like they did the same "shortening stuff to make things f a s t e r" a bit too much. From final smashes to victory themes (listen to Ice climbers from brawl then listen to ultimate). I really like how the smash team is focusing on those small details that are hard to notice (did you notice pikachu libre is a girl, olimars helmet cracks) but I kind of wish they would keep some of the details that are pretty noticeable. Of course this is just the small stuff, the game is really great and enjoyable overall.
