Personal opinion: I think the original soundtrack has more bass and feels more well rounded, so I do prefer the Original. But nevertheless, The Great Sea is absolutely amazing and one of my all time favorite Zelda soundtracks.

Phantom Hourglass was actually my very first Zelda game and the start of a biiiiig journey through the ages, experiencing many legends of princesses named Zelda.

I love Phantom hourglass's starting theme but then it goes downhill from there.... (however I appreciatet that its different to the original)

Old sounds better to me. I feel the sounds are more perfect for a free sailor theme than the "more orchestrated" version. I feel like the new version is better suited for if you're with a crew most if the time.
