Evolution of the Mazda 787B in Gran Turismo

All appearances of the Mazda 787B in the Gran Turismo series...except Sport, but GT Sport and GT7 use the exact same car models so...let's just pretend that Gt7 is also Gt Sport...even though Trial Mountain wasn't in-- oh...oh well :)
This car was a beast to dive with just the D-Pad, but chaotic driving is very on brand for me so it's all good!
The Stealth Model first appeared in GT5 as part of the Signature Edition for GT5. But I only have it in GT6!

It's cool that the engine sound of the 787B was kept pretty consistent between games. What games has your favourite engine sound? Mine is GT3...unsurprisingly! 😅 Edit; Wha--!? 10K+ views!? 😱 This video was really tough to record footage for. I just couldn't get my driving line right. I mean, I'm terrible at driving as it is in GT games, they are NOT d-pad friendly 😅 But thanks for the support!😁

GT Sport/7. Top 3 favourite engine sounds in those games: - Mazda 787B - Nissan R92CP - Sauber Mercedes C9

@@philliptran123 The R92CP and Sauber have always had great engine sounds in all GT games they appear in, but Sport and GT7 really delivered great quality with all 3 of them!

Midfield Raceway is such a beautiful track, in such a beautiful landscape, i wish it was featured in modern GT games and find a glitch in photo mode to explore the environments. I just feel like free roaming in that place, like one of those low poly animations.

How I would rank the sounds: GT7, GT3, GT4, everything else (all the same) How I would rank how OP the 787B is in each game: GT3, GT7, GT4, GTPSP, GT5, GT6

I'm stoked they simulated cars with a manual transmission shifting like they should in GT7, instead of acting like they have a sequential gearbox.

It really makes you stop and appreciate GT's sound design sometimes because even the GT3 sound of this car is better than today's Forza Motorsport

I appreciate GT for making almost every car sound like a vacuum cleaner. Jokes aside, GT really did nail the 787B on 3, 4, and 7.

The GTS/GT7 version is the most real one. I always felt 787 had a sound similar from older V8 F1s from late 2000's early 2010's

Technically the 787B stealth model originated in GT5 with the Signature Edition version. It got ported to GT6 along with the "Chrome Line" limited cars

GT3 and GT7 are my all time faves with GT4 coming in close. It seemed to lose some of its signature scream in GT PSP, GT5 and GT6 where it took on a more growly sound. Plus the rpm's were lowered (by a whole step, tops at D# normally but topped at C# in GT5, PSP and GT6)

The sound from GTS is very real, but I like sound of GT3 most. GT4 of the same sound is slightly low and does not like you too much as GT5/6 is considerably low.
