A well intentioned movement though I have questions: Who sues a company for pollution of a neightbor for littering, and where does the monny awarded in a case go and who administrates it? This has the potential to become a racket, where the representatives of the plaintiffs suck up all the loot. When they tell us we cannot heat our homes or grow food because nature doen't agree, we are stuffed.

Have to create a different legal view of it. A 'person' signifies human. You can't make a forest or river or dog or cat or tiger fit the definition of a person/a human being. But keep at it. In the last one or two decades have you notice animal rights protection laws increase? So shall the rights of nature, generally, and specifically regarding rivers, forests, etc. It's a no-brainer logical progression of human beings becoming more aware and adept at living in their big environment called Earth.
