In the 2008 hulk and 2012 avengers, I like how they show that he’s going through pain when he turns into hulk. On the newer ones they almost make it like it’s painless. They make him just turn into the hulk without any pain. It’s almost like a switch. Taking the “HULK” personality out of the hulk, and swapping it with a well-aware, smart, talking, joking hulk is what kills the viewers perception
