He is amazing. I have a question. Doesn't the difficulty (and thus the time needed) depend on the position of the cube? (I mean some starting positions are easier than others). Then how can you compare this kind of achievements and what a record actually mean?

Well the records that are broken are always lucky scrambles so yeah some scrambles are easier than other ones
