So, in Mario Kart 7 you had to get 7th and not last, because if you got last, your character wouldn't finish, and you would be marked as DNF!

4:30 interestingly, if you got 4th to 6th in this game, it would count as a lose, but the character doesn’t do any “losing” animation until 7th place.
