26:16 If gears are not aligned for change switch might sometimes get stuck, with spring user can change the setting regardless, and when the motor starts to spin it suppose to "jump into place". I have two C3 units named so on the box, on the unit themselves they are named B2...I checked around 8 of them in two shops choosing the best ones. What I discovered is quite sad, some of the units have much more power, some break more aggressively, some gears are looser and sound engines make can vary from air whistle to tank tracks...also the balance can be off as I think plastic cooling rotors are not on the place while machines drill holes to balance motors. 6 holes on the axle that are used by 6 balls of the chuck are not equal, which depending on the rotation you mount it might change its precision a great deal...from trash to pin-point accuracy. I think as a test I will drill those hair-thin deeper. I also think LED should be replaced by DIY users ASAP, and some pieces of plastic should fill mounting surfaces around the gearbox so it does not move so much. This 35nm is a joke...I don't think the batteries provided can utilize those engines to the fullest, I lack bigger ones for such a test, but the power indicator show battery charge drop by 1 bar on max speed, so I think the cell's discharge rate can't keep up. For its price is perfect for light work or to reach super crampy spaces... I still remember super duper Milwaukee & Makita top brushless models ELITE users swearing while they could not reach inside the duct during works in a 50mil £ a piece apartments in London center ...such little shit could save them hours weekly, but what do I know... ... I'm not a " PRO " =D ...not to mention battery thieves subject or how they had to carry it all :P

Glad I rediscovered this channel. Couldn't help but chuckle at how helterskelter and twitchy your hand movements are, I had to make sure the video wasn't on 2x speed. You should do a Rolex disassembly video 😇

First of your videos I’ve seen & watched. Great details actually disassembling and comparing is geek level I think has an audience on YT, keep it up! Got the ‘green’ 12v drill and it’s had a lot of use, if we could get the performance version I. The UK I’d get one!

This is a great video - thanks. Particularly interesting noting the production differences you saw between the two, indicating the different factories. There is a definite variation in the quality of tools the various Parkside factories put out (in the green standard tools) & i'm trying to determine if there's any telltales as to what you're getting/which are the best - the OWIM/Kompernass/Grizzly Tools labeling doesn't appear to mean much & actually changes across versions of the same tool.

Awesome video! Big outer difference between B2 and C3 but are they internally the same?

Very good video, I have the A1 version of this tool an is working fine. But I prefer to use my Bosch 12v tools. Parkside is ok but is not always available, no 12v battery packs when you need. But for domestic use, Parkside is ok. Anyway I like the way you explain things. Big like from me.

It would be interesting to do the comparison between a c3 and a Milwaukee m12 which the Parkside closely resembles.

Detail's man. I like this. But I wish, if it is possible, you would measure the actual torque both of them. It would give an answer the motors work the same or not. Practical tests, how many screws with different diameter and length can they screw in, etc., also would be useful. For the moment thanks for that you have done so far.

I just checked, but interestingly here (in the Netherlands) Lidl still sells the B2 version (at least according to the picture).
@lexlangenberg50002 жыл бұрын
In the Netherlands it was available for only a day or 2, and it was only 59,99 compared to the B2 version. That's going for a wopping 89,99.

it seems, there is the ''real'' C3 version, with C3 stickers on both sides. also it has red motor cooling fan. weird indeed.

I bought my 60 nm for 50 euro... this 12v thingy costs 80 euro here in holland... like whats the hell is that.. i would buy it if it was 30 euro. The green 12v is 18 euro.. and works fine! Why does the bl model has to cost 80 euro.. crazy. Shame guz i would like it for screws and stuff
@WCKD.2 жыл бұрын
That is 69,99 euros here in Finland and according to the picture it is C3 version.
@gisobo2 жыл бұрын
I guess the green version doesn't come with batteries, charger and drill bits and has a brushed motor. The batteries and charger cost 13+13+10=36 EUR if bought separately. In Germany, the black model costs just 70 EUR which is fairly good value for the money.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I was thinking about picking one of these up but it looks like the b2 is the preferred version in this case. I already have a moderate investment in the Bosch 10.8v drill/driver/impact so the lidl version is not a must have for me.
