Hi I wanted to ask you if I manually deactivate the bluetooth module and then connect the battery to the drill. What happens to the module? Does it reactivate when I connect the battery to the drill? Or the Bluetooth module remains deactivated even if I connect the battery.

I want to power up this charger using an external DC Boost Converter set at 21.5V but i'm unable to understand where should i make the connections, considering that there is no voltage with battery disconnected and maybe there's a transistor along with ic that controls this part only when the battery's present. Can you please guide me where can i connect the DC 21.5 V PSU ? Thanks again and keep doing this great work.

Does this charger charge with CC/CV, like a proper li-ion charger? Also, if you set battery cutoff at 3.0V, does the tool stop at this voltage? I'm thinking no. 4Ah with 5x 21700 batteries discharge way way sooner than I would expect. And I'm wondering, if it would be better if I buy good Molicel 21700 batteries and swap them, since it looks it would be a very quick and easy thing to do.

My thermocouple when heated is giving about 26mV but not engaging the magnetic safety valve even if you press the valve. Could the magnetic valve be mismatched with the thermocouple from factory? Which magnetic valve works on 26mV??

I have a similar batery with problems. It cannot be charged, the leds do not light when push the button and (important) U3 and R44 are overheating. In the video you made these components are at min 10:42, near the P+ connection from the power connector (U3 is near the tip of your finger). Do you have any suggestion for solving this problem? Do you have the schematics of the battery?
