SB: Samurai Heroes was my childhood. I still play it to this day on my Wii. Good times. Wish they would revive this game series and port it to PC as well.

Imo, Basara 3 Utage was the best version possible.. While i love inclusion if newer characters from 4 & sumeragi, and the added story from yukimura den.. Basara 3 Utage just has the perfect balance.. More characters than SB: Samurai Heroes, the story pacing is good, i love how they incorporate 3d map on the story mode.. and the biggest thing, they haven't nerfed Mitsunari's vacuuming skill, i hate how in 4 that skill can't vacuum anymore . And, I hate how in 4 and so on the enemies soldier have some absurd moves.. i mean cmon, stacking & rolling? 😂😂😂

Easy to buy them to play on PS4 (Sumeragi and Yukimura den). These series are too cheap.

Good video, but you missed mention of Sengoku Basara 1, the japanese version of Devil Kings, and better game. Aditionally, there were others games more for mobile, but I didnt played them: -Sengoku Basara Mobile (released on june 2011, was shut down on december 2011). -Sengoku Basara Card Heroes (released on may 2012, was shut down on june 2014). -Browser Sengoku Basara (had a crossover with browser sengokushi and was released on june 2012, was shut down on december 2012). -Sengoku Basara Battle Party (released on june 2019, was shut down on december 2020). This one had a collaboration with Monster Hunter and Devil May Cry too.

The problem with the first game was neither critics nor fans appreciated the blatant removal of Japanese themes, characters and content from the original version. The problem with Samurai Heroes is that Capcom doesn't like to fork out tons of money on marketing/promotion for titles that are not proven cash cows (see God Hand and Okamiden for more info).
