Happy Birthday Kel! This is from my favourite Symphony X album, V: The New Mythology Suite. It's a concept album, so when Kel says it sounds like the beginning of a mystery it's not far off the mark. You should do #SymphonyX - Communion and the Oracle from the same album, too. Wasn't keen on the holding the signs up, must admit.

This was my introduction to this amazing band after mainly listening to punk and old school 80s metal. It opened my eyes to a whole new dimension of music and it's so rewarding seeing you guys have a very similar reaction as mine. Love this album. He sings a bit cleaner than before and after. Had to get used to the production a bit, compared to the other ones guitars are a bit less crisp, more 80s metal sounding. But the songs on this album are all topnotch, all-killer-no-filler, and that is more important.

Good choice, guys, one of the best from a great album. You'd also like #SymphonyX Iconoclast and #MichaelRomeo Djinn from his solo album War of the Worlds pt1. (He's the guitarist and main composer of Symphony X's music)

You should have attached this song to the previous one, which is actually the intro of the album called "Prelude", and is a version of Verdi's Requiem - Dies Irae. However, a splendid reaction to one of the most iconic songs by SX. This album is AWESOME as well as criminally underrated, since it has many elements from well known classic opuses such as Mozart's Requiem or Bach's Brandenburg Concerto among others, the topics are all about the eternal fight between good and evil since the beginning of mankind, going through mythology, history, philosophy and all the aspects of the human consciousness and so forth until our current days. Perhaps you could try reacting to the whole album 😉, if not, well: #SymphonyX Egypt or A Fool's Paradise. Buenos Aires, Argentina. Oh, and happy birthday, Kel!
