HITTING THE DYNO WITH A "KNOCK-OFF" EVP BAD ASS BELT

It recently came to our attention that some outfits on Amazon, eBay and other online retailers are selling fake EVP Bad Ass Belts. They're even branding the packaging with the Evolution Powersports name and part number!
Well, of course we had to order one and put it to the test on the Dyno. The test subject was our 2021 Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo RR pushing 350 WHP. We know (and have proven) that a legit EVP Bad Ass World's Best Belt is good for anywhere from 75-100 pulls (at minimum) for this horsepower level.
How many pulls do you think the counterfeit EVP World's Best made before failing? Let's just say the results are not surprising.
In all seriousness, knock-off products on Amazon and eBay are a huge problem and threat to the companies that do the actual research, development, testing, and manufacturing. This video is intended to bring awareness to that problem, as well as educate the EVP and SxS community that some "online deals" are going to cause you and your vehicle more pain in the long run.

I did snap an oem belt this weekend thought it would save my housing but caused one hell of a mess of strings. Will order straight from you guys. Side note I was able to test my mg1 evo tune this weekend at UTV invasion Jericho Utah. The launch control gave me an extra 5 mph at the top of the mountain I was holding 50mph. Over preformed!! My dad’s buddy’s wouldn’t even line up after my 4 seater ate one of their tuned machines. Thanks guys! I was running your stickers on each side. We had a drag tree there and being a drag racing points champ myself there was no contest. question, when making the comparison between the fake and real deal, is the real deal one broken in cause the fake wasnt. appreciate all you guys do

I bought a can am OEM belt from Amazon as soon as I opened it I knew it was a fake, rubber even looked weird, thought I’d throw it on as a last resort…. Lasted a whole 10 miles. It was listed by can am but fulfilled by another supplier provided pictures and description and received a refund.

All belts blow even Evo belt blows and Evo belt also grabs all clutch parts and causes more damage

i think, steeling tecnology and copy it is allready something, but printing even others brand ect on the item......??

It is real, the company I work for keeps changing, and updating their labels because of the counterfeit parts. They added QR codes and even sent out statement letters with the pictures of the new labeling to help identify counterfeit packaging.
