I love how the animators did the exact opposite of what the narrators are saying. He’s saying it’s got a stiff tail whilst it’s tail is wiggling like a noodle, and there’s no grass despite there very obviously being grass everywhere. I also love how they blatantly contradict themselves. Like when Steven Fry says that allosaurus is two tonnes, yet the so called “dinosaur expert” contradicts that a few seconds later saying it’s 15T (which is ridiculous and would make it heavier than a Tyrannosaurus rex). It’s almost as if they put all their budget into Steven Fry instead of the script and animation.. How this sad excuse for a “documentary” even got on mainstream television is beyond me lol

The premise of the show is that Stephen Fry went back in time to observe animals in their natural habitat during the Mesozoic era, yet he's also somehow able to walk right up to large predators without them acknowledging his presence and the animals just stand there, in one spot, for extended periods of time like NPCs in a game. Chased by Dinosaurs did the concept way better over 2 decades ago.
