I bought a Hadean as my first board a week ago. It’s so fun, no regrets. I’ve bought things from overseas before (FPV drone gear) and it’s been DOA. Its so much hassle getting it sorted and that stuff only cost £100 ish. I’ve got no regrets, like you say I could have to £300 or £400 but I don’t think it’s worth it when spending so much money

Hi Fred. Great review as always. I wanted to thank you for two things. First for the advice you give not so long ago about DKP trucks. I have a few boards but I was sure my hurricane wanted to kill me but after you saying about practice it’s now the first I go for. I love my Zeus pro but there’s something special about DKP I didn’t appreciate until your advice. The other thing is I now really love the Evolve brand now. I felt they were over priced and over hyped. Not anymore. I got a bamboo board from another brand and I was so disappointed. I won’t say the brand but the deck was tiny and felt cheap so I went and got a Hadean and the quality is fantastic. The deck is just beautiful and ever nut and bolt is beautiful quality. I didn’t want to like evolve I think I was caught up in the negative hype but compared with the other 9 boards I own the Hadean just seems more polished. Again Fred. Thank you for your posts and stay safe.

wow. thank u for the feedback bud. owning up to that was basically the same thing i did. i mean who doesnt wanna pay less for better specs. i get it. i did the same thing. bought cheaper competitive boards that claim to be better, and they just simply weren’t. u can feel the difference right away. and yea man, the hadean is just a all around polished beast. glad ur happy with it man ✌🏼

@@esk8unity thanks Fred. It’s also what you said about DKP. I was so against DKP because of a speed wobble at high speed. I blamed the board, the bushings and the wheels instead of the real issue. Me and needing more practice. Now I love DKPs for how carvey and cruisey they are. Thank you brother. Ride safe.

Nice video but Evolve needs to up the batteries, that was my biggest problem with the original GTR, was only getting 15 miles of range on 6” wheels. When I switched to Eovan rs125 it still was only a little better.

eovan came out way later than the gtr. that eovan also is street, not AT (125mm) the panosonic battery they use also had terrible battery sag after 45% which in my opinion defeats the purpose of a big battery board setup. the gtr isnt meant to be a long range board. more range= bigger setup. lastly, they already upgraded to the hadean if u want more

Try and put the cable clip on the left a little lower than middle and mine always came off now that I put it a little lower on the clip it stays hasn't come off since hopefully it works for everybody else

I like your video very honest the one thing is when you mention the backfire boards at least I know most of them the turbo mode only goes for 30 seconds then is off for 30 seconds and it is also in their literature other than that you’re straight on Marketing is everything I have nothing against a wall boards I just don’t like the belt driven boards as they’re a little too noisy for me and I am at all day over 60 and rides every day And at full speed yes I’m crazy

@@MichaelWagner-z4k well the marketing/advertising i had to go over because ppl devalue companies for having marketing as if its some kinda bad thing. its not and all companies have it. marketing is the largest cost for a business . especially when you have quality camera equipment and riders. As for pricing, i def think $949 (with our discount code) for a GTR is absolutely worth it. In fact im gonna do a revisit video on this board i love it so much. Spending more for the diablo is definitely a great idea ifff u want maximum performance and range. its truly a amazing board and ill never sell either of them

better is very subjective. hadean definitely has more flex. in my opinion, the hadean has too much flex. i like the gtr deck better

I like the Hadean deck much more, the drop down gives extra stability and no more wheelbite, the concave is spot on and it is wider at the feet which gives more response and makes short turns a piece of cake without repositioning your feet.

Fred I agree with your rant . My proble with evolve is that they don't allow others in Australia compete. They have a patent on carbon eskate . So won't allow anyone else sell them in Australia. And that's not inside of what you said

The componenets of Evolve boards are ALSO from China. People keep saying "china boards" I don't understand it. The negativity toward Evolve as a company is warranted. I and many others have been seriously injured by the brakes of a GTR at speed. Then for them to put out the Series two, which addresses the concerns but without them taking ANY responsibility. So it is unfair to pick on riders for their boards, the community is still small and we need people to be ALIVE and safe to stay in the community and to make it grow. Never stop exposing the terrible practices of ANY company as it makes things safer for EVERYONE. Alos, Evovle boads are mostly from China. The face is just Australian, but if you look into their parts they are straight from the same address as other "china-boards" so i don't understand that rhetoric?

I can second this. I’d happily attach a screenshot of support point blank denying the big judder when applying the brakes going over ~30km/h (with the 7” wheels) all they needed to say was they didn’t include field oriented control in the GT or GTR series 1, and I would have understood, rather than just lying to my face. Never buying evolve again.

@@robras2850 $949 its a no brainer. no other 2 in1 flexy setup has its features, its remote, its smoother throttle curve, its all , its customer service, its worldwide retailers , there accessories and fit n finish. meepo minis arent even close to this lol. nomad is a good board for the money for sure. very big heavy tho. acedeck and propel created GREAT value boards. but they still have cheapy remotes and no features like the evolve has. if they did, they would be more money. way more to buying and riding then just specs and price. gotta look at the entire package and whats right for u as a rider. GTR2 is my most ridden board out of ALL the boards u see on this channel. When u get actual experience with these boards, u will understand
