Game Engine Freedom cheat removes all restrictions on part complexity limits. Without it you could have maybe 10 arms and several wings, with it you could become a sentient orb of 1,000 arms 18 mouths 37 eyes and still tack on as many wings as you want.

Hey blitz so i have been playing spore since it came out and i have some tips to tell you so for mouths go down the clobster claw path for hands trapfist for feet the paws becuz they give good speed.for combat take the hockit launcher for spit becuz its very useful also go the top path to get the lvl. 5 charge and for strike go down the path you are already going on. also get wings and bone knee pads for health. also if you sell some parts of your creature it doesn't disappear completely.And its unnecessary to have more of the same parts on one creature,it just takes up space. anyway thanks for reading hope you enjoy the tips :)

Nice to see you returning to a "Golden Old'en", Blitz. Always was one of my favourite games, which is probably why I've been modding it for years now. So. yeah, if you want any advice on modding Spore, take it from me: The Spore ModAPI is a specialised tool to install and manage mods, and is required to run more advanced mods, like the kinda-sorta-total conversion mod Dark Injection, which adds tons of content from Spore's now-mostly-dead spinoff DarkSpore, including new parts and a new GUI. The API isn't required to install most mods out there, but is easier to use and will eventually become the de facto method to install them. If you need a few brief tutorials, I'd also recommend looking up DarkEdgeTV here on KZbin. She, a Spore veteran, has made literally hundreds of popular monsters and is among the most prominent figures involved with the Spore Modding Community. She's also been nice enough to host tutorials on installing the mods and other creative tips. Finally, if you are so willing to do so, we also have a Discord server where we host a few exclusive mods and provide direct support for modding. Also, the Freedom cheat being "only available in non-game editors" means you can't use it any of the Stages. You can only use it in the editors accessed from the Create Tab in the Main Menu.

the "freedom" cheat cant be used in-game. theres a way to edit in the creature stage and just have those creatures be saved to your menus. you can create them and save them, but they are unplayable in the actual game, but im pretty sure there are mods that fix that.

You can modify how some party look by clicking on it and dragging the arrows, some makes spikes larger, some change completely how the part looks. If there's no arrows that means it can't be modified.
