@@waqasrafique2600 when I say my army has never let us down I mean my army did not overthrow a democratically elected government, it has always respected the Constitution. Pakistan was under dictatorship, Myanmar was ruled by military, civil war was ongoing in Srilanka, Bangladesh was under autocratic rule during it's initial years, Nepal and Bhutan were monarchy, Afghanistan was under monarchy later civil war, when all these types of governments were surrounding India, my army had all the chance to takeover and may be convince the public too for its takeover of the country, but it didn't, people's mandate was everything to my army. Coming to the warfront, my army has won all the wars, never surrendered, fought till the last man on the ground. Even during India China war, after occupying our certain lands China announced ceasefire and hostilities halted, but surrender was never an option. So come up with good facts next time

Its not like India grows money in the back yard of the PMs office.. Congress spent 92 Crores on defense of the 192 Crores in India's first budget and this is on record. Congress has always allocated the %GDP as described by the relevant commissions.. Capabilities of Armies cannot be built in 7 years.. Human Resources, Submarines, Frigates, Carriers, Jets, Tanks, Guns, Processes, strategies, doctrines cannot be manufactured or developed in 7 years time.. These capabilities have evolved over time and will keep evolving as per the threat perceptions. Its not like BJP can address the short fall of 18 squadrons in a decade it has ruled, there is no super market around the world to go shop and come back with 18 squadrons. The capabilities can be addressed only in the next few decades and by then our requirement would have got changed to a higher number.

a very polite and articulate conversation with a gentle man general. i have a few inquiries to such an adroit geneal 1)how about restoring back the aura of the post of 2nd lieutenant in the army and equivalents to it in other two wings of the defence forces 2)after 71 war as a reward made to the defence forces officers their ration has been made free at the peace stations also and the A.S.C.are managing show. how about the idea of supplying those ration items through the reputed service provider like Big basket, Reliance.Geo & Tata etc. it will save a few crores in the defence budget and visa vis will provide thousands of additional employment to the needy who are desperately waiting for any sustainable in come 3) c.s.d.service and bonanza should be restricted to the serving personnel and their spouse only and similarly to ex employees and their spouses.3) price of liquor of c.s.d. canteen should have a very little difference with those stuff available in bazar so that misuse of it could be restricted to the minimum and those ex- will automatically reduce their consumption to minimum and if not let the government should able to earn extra bucks for spending on many welfare measures and to do good for poor.A.K.ROY.9340731080.

Bonanza........The armed forces equate them selves with the Civil services. Under the British they were both equal But this has deteriorated over years. Ofcourse they both do different work but sometimes like in Kashmir and North East....when army works with civil services....a junior with less years of service may give orders to faujis.....this hampers morale... In line with this reforms have been made to make promotions in line with civils services if not exact....that is what 2 Lt was don't away with and time bound promotion till Lt Col Rank was brought in...Col and above are select list.... Most Army people end at Col.Rank... But a civil servant with all his previledge will still become a Major Gen equal even of he does nothing great. The army is still trying to being more.changes....like doing away with Brig Rank
