To me I ask myself whats more likely a evolving skies going to $2100 for a 3X or a box of surging sparks for example at $100 going to $300 for a 3X, Whats more likely? To me I think the Surging sparks would get there WAY easier. Just my opinion 😁

They both will eventually 3x but ES could do it faster you never know it could take years for SS to 3x it’s not even out yet you don’t know the size of the print run bc of all the hype around it already

@@monkey39128 well I only bought 5 boxes of ES because that’s all he had for sale. The total value of ES set is 5.5X more than the box. With 2 legendary hits and countless banger alt arts. But I have 4 cases of Surging Sparks pre-ordered as well… however I’m not to pumped on them. So I might open up 1 or two.

@@monkey39128 I bought 4 cases of SS but I am Not to thrilled on it. ES total set is 5.5X the value of the cost of a box. Pretty good. With 2 god cards, and multiple banger alt arts that are absolute beautiful chase cards. I was going to go all in on SS but once I saw the Pika…not a fan.

It's almost the perfect card but unfortunately it's quite common because of the massive print run. The huge pop report means the card needs large amounts of demand to keep the price high. I have no idea if that demand will hold but it's going to be interesting finding out. If a card with 10000+ PSA 10's can actually sustain growth over the long term then we really have crossed the rubicon.

@@monkey39128 yes a lot of graded cards,i dont think they will be switching hands super often, sentimental value too strong … also everyday there are less and less sealed product … im not investing in moonbreon … the supply will always go down

@@monkey39128 Well you have to take into account the gem rate of the Umbreon Vmax. It is so high that people have sent in, and had graded , a crazy amount of 10s. That being said, the demand is still high enough at the moment, at 3 years since release, to bring the card back up to just under 1000$ ( it’s 999.95$ on TCG at time of this comment). Will it go further? Will a psa 10 go to 2000 a la Lovebirds? It’s hard to tell.

Even if you had enough money, this set is one of the least liquid sets. If I had bought this set at $85-100 I would sell most of it probably now, or at least before it hits $1000.

I don't get why you always critize people buying product when it goes up. Is that not what you want to happen? The price of a box could be 5k doesn't matter if nobody is going to buy it. And if they do you're going to call them foolish? I get you're saying it's not the best investment, but that's how prices go up and down by people buying product

@@jims7773 Depends why you're buying it I guess. If you want one as a collection piece then it doesn't matter as much. If you want it as an investment then your money is better off elsewhere in my opinion. You're right it's probably foolish of me to tell people because they're the people I sell to. I just don't like seeing people make mistakes. There always seems to be people who are an era behind and they end up paying silly prices for modern boxes.

@@ikilldabs1372 I dont understand how the hit rates are so tough yet there are over 10,000 PSA 10 Moonbreons. Not to mention all the other grades and all the raws still out there. There had to have been like 10s of millions of these packs opened 😭 nothing else makes sense
