Thank you for this I might actually eat okra now. This will be great for zucchini I bet too and reminds me how my Mom would coat her fried zucchini we all loved from Dad’s garden. (Mom always loved a certain brands Italian bread crumbs to do it too).

My cousin always freezes her okra, then, as it's thawing in a colander in the sink, grates fresh nutmeg, only 6 passes with the microplane, over the thawing okra. While you can't taste it, there is a difference to the finished product! I love okra, but dislike the mushy stuff that restaurants make. This is a great way to cook it and not mess up my kitchen or heat the oven

Not bad, I think I over-did the Parmesan Cheese and pepper though. BUT, If you are looking for a traditional Fried Okra recipe, THIS IS NOT IT.
