Evony: Best Way to Quickly Increase Your Buffs!

Advice to all players that will not spend a ton on getting copies of a general. Make your lead general from the tavern and make the assistant a paywall/coiner general. From the tavern you can get the 15 copies to get a tavern general to 10 stars. The only exception is Ground generals. Evony has not provided a good selection in the tavern. You will need to trade blood of ares, general recruit, alliance card and General Portrait to get copies. I'm not a big spender, but I know I will max out a tavern general long before I can max out a paywall general.

Note. When you upgrade Dragon to Ares the refines get zeroed. In the short run dragon gear refines will help. But, it will cost 2x in gems, because you will need to do the refines again. If you have a good gem game, this may not matter. But if your not a spender, wait until you upgrade dragon to Ares to do refines. Your better off using the wasted gems on dragon refines on the shrine. Shrine donation help with prestige (the ranging that determin how many sub city you can own) and leveling up your monarch (monarch level determines the upper limit of a generals level). Micro spenders and F2P can't waste gems. Make wise choices or die of mistakes.

I just upgraded some dragon gear to ares gear and it did not start the refinements over at zero. I kept all the refinements. I also did not lose the star level. It is possible that in the past you would have to start over but not now. I also did not have to start over on my original account either several months ago. I will say to your credit that Ares gear can be refined to higher level buffs than dragon gear, so you do have to do SOME additional refining, but not anything that is overly expensive at least for me.

It does not but the percentage value goes up when upgrading to Ares so all the gems you spent getting the maxed out refines of Dragon gear are diluted by the new higher standard of Ares gear. It's best to wait till you have the gear you're going to settle on so as to not spend twice as many gems re-refining all that gear. Also I'd suggest (for low-coiners) add 2 Achamenadia gear pieces into the mix to maximize set buffs. 2 Ares, 2 Ach, 2 Civ. Each set has an addition 10-15% all troop attack buff increase (at the first set buff level) so you could potentially be adding from 30-45% extra troop attack just by mixing things up a bit. Make sure to look at each gear piece to se which piece is best for the general and troop type you are going to put it on.

Nice video. I had no idea bird of hurricane had double drop rate on monsters. I noticed you have one refined to flat refines mounted and all others were mounted percentages. My monsters killing general I spent a lot on flat refines however that's for lower level troops but I don't want to spend more on gems to change all my flat refines to percentages.

It is a good video because right now after you get to a certain level, the buffs and debuffs only become important.

Better use 2 civ gear and 4 achaemenidae gear for the set buffs. If you have a 3th civ better place it on a sub Gen that way you still get the debuff during defense and attacks

Your vudeos are great, im new player that occasionally coins. I mean two weeks old baby player. This helps alot making good decisions with Mechanics thr game doesnt show you

Sorry but you should probably consider retitling this video. I will say although this was all useful and interesting information, it definitely wasn’t a “how to” video. It was clearly you showing everyone the gear you have and it seems you are actually seeking “how to” information from the statements at the end. But this could be useful to us if you actually describe the differences and why the ones you chose is the best for everyone. Maybe you are telling us we should get the exact same general and gear?? If that’s the case, it would be nice to know how and where to get everything you have there. It says the best way to “quickly” increase our buffs so I am very curious to know how quickly.. also, if this gear cost $$, about how much will it cost us?? I’m not hating.. just genuinely looking for help.. how can this help me at keep27? Is it possible for me or does it require higher lvl? Thanks for the information because I’m sure it’s all helpful at different points in the game

Yes, I see your points. I am learning to build this channel and that is why I ask for constructive criticism so Thank you. I guess it will require a series of videos on this topic to explain all of what you are asking. It is a very in-depth and complicated subject because there are several gear types, different gear for different troop types, and different refinement possibilites. I will try to make more videos about this in the future. I will take all of what you said into consideration. Thank you.

One for sure: Real Evony Life starts @ k33 + Academy 33. For the noob: One can only upgrade Academy to level (lvl) 33 if the Keep itself has reached lvl 33. Thats your first priority. Once u have both upgraded to lvl33, u can start with Achaemenidae, and or Ares gear. That's why i don't waste precious material till my keep reaches this point.

Your a coiner. Vip level is high gear is to high for that level.
