It needs to be less of a pay to win event in my opinion. Winning should come through challenges not packs. Make them earn the historic cities

I would agree with you. But im glad that at least it's more of a pay to win and not pay to play.. which the game has been moving towards recently.

@@shinigami6631 I agree with this also. I understand it’s a business and they are in it to make money. And I’m ok with that. I’m even ok with it being a pay to win event. But they kind of promote it as if you have a chance to compete by listing all the ways to earn medals when in fact at most it’s a fraction of what was needed. I wish they would just do more things to make the game not so repetitive. Barbarians was a nice change for a few weeks. Now give us something else. Then again. Keep it fresh.

It’s unfortunate that it is pretty much a spenders event. The top 100 all had a minimum of 900k points so several thousand dollars even if you win every single event that gave scores.

Just one more pay only event that is further alienating the majority of players and ruining the game. It's going to be so much fun when there's nobody left but whales and they have nobody to play with lol

There's still some chance if you don't coin. There are free badges you can get from other events. And if you don't land a historic city then you can get an epic sub or a legendary sub. You can score 58k medals from BoG and BoC with score of 1200 or higher.. that's a little over 200$ worth. I would say it's better than civilization gear where you would have to wait some 5 months for the gear to be released in other means than coining. Otherwise you have to outright buy the damn set.

I would agree, when the developers start getting greedy more people will start to leave as the result of increased pay for win then at some point it will be whales vs whales, then people will see there is no point in playing as there's less people to show off to.
