Evony New General Theodosius: and Answering Viewer Question

I don't understand why Mu is first when she has the same march size with Theodosios, and the overall attack of Mu is 195%(solo attack) the same Theo that has 170%+25%(skill book) = 195%. Note, Mu can't have an attack skill book. Clearly, Theo has better cultivation stat on attack.

After looking into it I had an error in my inputs for theo and guiying. The actual total attacks for them are 357 guiying and 341 theo. If you count the skill book then theo will be higher, but I don't account for skill books in the spreadsheets since using a skill book also depends on your assistant. Good catch on the numbers, I do sometimes have mistakes in my inputs so it's always nice to see people check.

You have to help them consider the team play aspect and make sure you give them the full story of universal buffs for reining also

Hi, first, it's just Marie. S is part of the last name. Thank you for the answers. It is greatly appreciated. It kind of confirmed what I was thinking. Sorry in advance for the long message. So I fall in the grey area. I have a 900M k36. I joined the server late, so I am still playing catch up, but my debuffs are overall good even if they will always need more work. I consider myself as a decent PvP keep - 1400% ranged and mounted attack, 1100% ground and can take a hit from a k40 (at least 2200% buffs) with a positive power exchange. While I am waiting for the right ranged and ground assistant, I want to work on my siege generals. I am not F2P but just a low coiner, and I can't afford premium generals or civ gear, just one once in a while, but I do have a lot of runestones. I haven't developed any siege generals, so I am open to any options. But there just aren't any good F2P options. I think I will play it safe for now. I will ascend Teach but not develop his specialties so I can dismiss him later and recover the blood of Ares once there is a better option. I didn't feel like you were convinced by Teach, and neither I am. That's also why I am planning to focus on a good assistant for the specialties for the time being. I have Kleos and the scrolls to get Theo. I didn't get Gunther (maybe I should have got him but a bit late for that) because I knew I will probably never get his full convenant because of Melisande. Unlocking the march size would have been borderline and would have taken a lot of work. On the other hand, for Theo's convenant, I am just missing Nero so easy to get. however, I think I will go with Kleos for the HP and march size. Kleos requires less work and less gems without a convenant to develop, has survived the time, looks like he is slightly better in the long run, and I won't use any scrolls which is great because I am accumulating them so one day (2 years later 😂) I can get a premium defense general.

In that case I'd go with Ulysses, you'll only lose out on 25% Atk by not using a dragon, so it's not the end of the world.

Nice analysis; I _personally_ prefer *Gunther* - with Spirit Beast his stats except that nice March Size are better and sadly *Theodosius* clashes in primary skill becuse in other ways they are very similar.Of course, if you're using presets for _Large Siege_ and _Small Siege_ which seems common I might want a separate second March leader. I haven't checked *Mu Guiying* yet, but she has the advantage of not having to attack so could be more useful in Defence; *Gunther* needs to be attacking. It's the Seige DEbuff General Evony announced at the same time I'm most interested in.

I use Ulisses, since I could give him the Fafnir dragon. I am convinced that sooner or later Evony will make some good siege general as f2p, maybe on relics (some guy like Petronas or Severus). That will probably put Edward Teach down in the list. So I am not sure Teach is a good investment since he is not a real f2p general in the sense it will take years to get fragments to reach 5 red stars. Unless you use Teach for rallies, where he may be better, but you need to be a rally settler.

I agree with u, hopefully we can get a f2p siege soon, but for now Ulysses is the only one that is realistic

Just an fyi, i got him and because of his main skill book he isnt compatible with pallas or with zucca, reminds me of when i got teach. Also I'm sure copies of him will be hard to come by i can tell you this much for free, I'm selling him for gold I'm too invested in pallas and zucca so he's not worth it to me, and hp over def always

Looks like he's not compatible as an assistant with Pallas as the main gen (I use Pallas/Hunyadi currently)

Good evening sir, I have a question, Im an f2p player, Ive been playing for around 70 days now, k32 and I plan to go k33 in the next ymir event after a few days, I heard from many people that I should use a free general as a main and a premium one as assistant.. So currently Im using Roland as main for cavs with Washington prime as an assistant (my buffs are 695% from battle report and I get around 60 or 70% extra from blazons and skill books that are active when Im marching to a monster) For Ranged I got Elektra from the relics and rn Im using alfred as an assistant for her (my buffs are 645) Im using dragon equipments for both, I havent done alot of refining because some experienced players told me to wait until I upgrade to ares to get a better refining cap So my question is what do you recommend as free generals for ground and siege? I have alot of premium generals like Pallas, Friegg, Theodosius, Ludwig but I want to get a free general as a main and a premium one as an assistant, do you think I should forget about that I start working on Pallas and Friegg as main generals or what? Whats your advice

So you have two options for ground, you can get Trajan from the tavern or Elise from the trial of knights event. For siege you should use Ulysses. I just finished a video on the free generals, it should be up in a day or two, so watch out for that.

F2P gens won’t cut it bro 👊 only on new servers for about 6-12 months after that your on coin vs coin & yes I know , can make trap keeps but that’s just waste of time this game is a war attack game not hi 👋 come hit me wow look at my defence this T1 destroyed game ….. but Evony good business move to keep people hooked onto something that leads to nowhere 🤣 unless of course your coining btw last time I checked teach isn’t F2P he was semi F2P
