If layers were 10k each what would the difference be? I sounds like it would be better.

It honestly wouldnt make much of a difference. The benefit to a layers march is that each persons layers create another round of battle rather than the volume of the layer itself.

A strong siege or cav march would have hurt xellzios .

it most likely would have done some different damage, yes. but the number of marches would have mitigated it overall which is why it is so important to have as many layers marches as possible on both offense and defense. most likely our t14 ground would have taken more of a hit than they did if a cav march was sent. But the hit was a no scout hit in response to the rally we set so Sonic didnt have the benefit of a scout report or the knowledge that Xell was reinforced the way she was.
