As far as I can tell, if you have two generals with the same skills books it’ll only take the main general’s into account, so it may lead to benefiting more of a mixed march approach. You can also have two wall generals which will potentially be huge!

I have maxed specialties Dewey (Joseph) and then Marshal came along so I started him and then they made ascension so I have almost reached 7 star and now the assistant general update and the two don’t seem to really work together because they share so many common traits. I am so tired of Evony jerking us around with everything! I have been jaded since the k40 update and double coupons as I went from the top player on my server (403) and thought I was done wasting money on the game and now everyone is spending and getting more and leaving me behind! But I am sticking to my spending freeze and will probably go out in a blaze of glory someday getting revenge on all the jerks and rule breakers by hitting tiles and relics over time and strategically for the maximum effect and enjoyment! We have an alliance that is rude and grimy and has no boundaries always making us look bad on server chat and disgusting on world chat every day! So it should be fun! 😂

It’s been fun. My Roland has mounted attack, HP and size on it. I added Hernando Cortez with 10% all troop attack on monsters and the monster 5% debuff along with the three mounted against monsters and immediately killing bosses I couldn’t before. So far for PVP, I’m actually using debuff generals on with books that my mains did not have. All the skills are coming through test out in BOC tomorrow.

I was under the impression that the specialties wouldn't take effect and only the main skill and skill books go towards the buffs unless their duplicated.

For those that haven't already figured this out. Evony restricts skills that buff march size, if you have a march book on your main general. You can circumvent this by putting the march book on your assistant general. To clarify... -Elektra as your main general (with march book) means that Matthias' special skill will not be counted. -Elektra as your main general (without march book) mean that Matthias can equip the march book AND have his special skill count. Time for more discoveries!

If the assistant general skill is colored it will work, if its greyed out its a duplicate, so the passive one you get with the general still works, you would need to bring a dragon with minimoto to get that extra 15%.

Tip…when you put two generals on wall it shows which skills cancel each other out so you can use that to check combinations of your general combos for every other situation.

I agree, it's good, but not SUPER crazy. Do the Specialities actually work? I have 5 Max spec gens (Alfred, Martinus, Elise, Leo III, Surena...) I am looking to do my 6th, I am leaning towards Leonidas or Queen Boudicca... I want to unlock Victory Column 5.

What combination would you use for wall generals? I have Dewey on there now. What so you think about adding Trajan as an assistant? I don't have Leo yet.

I have found that if you run a cav general with - cav attack - cav vs monster attack - gamble and another general that reduces monster attack with cav hp = cav hp vs monster - march speed it all stacks together. I have used this combo to farm ymir all day none stop. gamble books dont stack and from my experience i get more value from doing this combo than using roland as secondary but others who hit b16s have.

Added Scipio for assisted wall general as I had a 2nd 3/4 runed.. put 2 mounted skill books and another ground skill book. Had an alt hit me and somehow my stats are lower now then they were when I had the same alt hit me Wed before Challons 🤷🏽‍♂️. And for some reason I wouldn't put it past Evony to debuff generals just to bring them back to the stats they were at but having to waste something to get it there

Just A week ago i noticed i had a lot of runes for spec 1 and 2, and since i decided i have my 5 generals with specialities done, i wasted all my 1 and 2 runes on Sanadas and Queen Jindeoks OMG, stupid evony always screwing me up on the timing.

Since the assistant general announce I am trying to figure out the best assistant general with the main general according to my experiments to kill the monster you should use the assistant sanada or cortes they give good results but if you wanna send two rare generals then make sure the skill and base attributes must be different gor example hannibal can go with aethefield one of them you monster attack, defence and hp skill and another attack, defence and ho skills both will work great against monster. And for pvp choose the assistant which can be used to reduce enemy power give him different skills than your main general it will work great too

Soloed a b17 and got 50k wounded. Soloed a b16 with 7k wounded. Used 2 top cav gens. Using 2 wall gens and my stats improved greatly.

it's inconsistent for a few generals lol, imo Minamoto/Martini all that should be able to take the book like the other gens. like now Surena can't take an attack book anymore and some people have it some people can't. just let them have it it's much simpler
