When you look at most uncovered radiators you can see why it's a good idea. Some lovely welding on the frame of the bike. Quality. Good job Dan.

I bought one for my street triple 765rs and fitted it in 5 mins. Looks great and so simple to fit

I think the biggest advantage is that if you consider the price of a replacement radiator against the cost of one of these, then consider the damage a single stone flicking from a car in front of you could potentially do to your radiator, it's a no brainer NOT to have one.

High hopes...just ordered one for my R1250RS....so if anyone has performed that installation on a 1200 or 1250 RS , I'd appreciate feedback on the installation procedure because the instructions I already downloaded from Evotech aren't exactly crystal clear to me. Indeed I also like the fact it's not disruptive to the original design and repurposes the existing bolts (I dislike to use different length / head type bolts in general as is breaks uniformity) . Thx for reviewing. Most radiators on modern bikes are over-engineered in terms of cooling capacity - especially the ones mounted in the traditional way (unlike say the Honda VRF800 VTEC and the likes which are mounted sideways) so unless you ride in the dessert it won't hinder the airflow too much I would reckon.

Hey Dan. I just bought one for my ‘10 STR. Before I do the install in a few days, can you confirm whether the bolts that secure the guard onto the sides of radiator are long enough for the added width of the guard? Thank you!

You’ve probably done it by now but for the purposes of anyone else fitting one - you won’t need longer bolts

@@Dan_TheMedic Thanks for the video. And yes, it works as-is beautifully.
