@@Venoxisguides The main problem is: that nobody wants survival, everyone wants arcade hunting. I usually end the game because I fall asleep, the whole island is empty except for maybe two places - playing is simply boring. The creators of the game do not understand this, they go for senseless mechanics, there is nothing permanent in this game, constant changes, in fact they go around in circles only changing the balance. But really nothing has changed since Legacy, no new mechanics have caused people to stop talking about school in the chat: instead of having fun - this is especially visible on servers with body down rules.

I think just increasing the stam regen of everything by 25% would be really good. The devs dont like afk players so having to spend less time regenning stam would reduce the need for afking in a bush. Also it would make travel around the map easier and help remove the hotspots the devs dont like.

The funny part is that the new diet system literaly rewards afk player that camp their ai spawn. You cant hunt big herbis without running out of food as it take forever to kill a dibble or stego.

Just add Winds to the coast .Theres Non stopp wind from the ocean to sail without using stam. Sail planes, rc Modell glider use these winds too. Also Eagles.

Haven't played the most recent update but I know one of the biggest issues for Ptera in the last one was that it only spawned in two small areas at one end of the map. It was a pain if you wanted to go to the dam at the other end. This'll definitely help with that problem.

I don't think that's exactly what they mean. The currents will probably have premade layouts that the admins can apply to the different conditions. For example he says that the layouts will change depending on weather. An admin could, in theory, adjust that so it didn't happen or possibly swap which layouts appear when.

Hello :D The ptera problem is not to be able to discover all the map or no , its to fight ! stam use when pressing space bar is insane and very long time to recover, so those hot air wont help at all during fight for the real fighter , just reduce stam consume is enough :/ and up regen ,why try other things , do u agree?

This is a convoluted solution for an easy problem which is going to come with a load of bugs like all new Isle content. Just give PT a stam regeneration buff and fix the issues.

You must be kidding: I flew around the entire island several times along the coastline , even without an extra high take-off you are able to fly along the coastline 70% of the island. The biggest problem was with the stability of the game, I had frequent disconnections while gliding, it never happened over land. I stopped playing the Island because the ptera became useless, it used to hunt even baby crocodiles, now catching hipsies is a problem. This game doesn't need more gadgets, it needs optimization and being more arcade: I fly a bird to a migration site AND THERE I STARVE: because there's not a single fish in the entire swamp. All players continue to sit in one place and eat each other - because that's the only way they survive AND HAVE FUN WITH THE GAME. Nobody wants to wander around the forest and starve to death while playing survival.

Just buff the stam regen and reduce stam usage when going up because it uses an insane about of stam. that's the easiest way to fix it. Classic dondi, doing things the hard way.

It's funny that in game a ptera cant even fly high enough to reach the thermal coming off of the rock without losing all its stamina. I like the idea but stamina regen values still need to go up imo

Not true at all. Ptera barely uses stamina to get on that specific rock. I was trying to get to HL from WA in multiple different ways. It is easily doable.

ptera is fine u can fly from sea lvl to the highland in 1 flight and have stam left. you just dont know how to fly. u can fly around the map EASY

Yes, People like to complain, but I think more than 90% of the player base don't know how to play it. I've encountered a lot of players in-game and tried to explain it to them, but most just don't want to listen and blame their skill-issue on the game
