I started watching Gilmore Girls in the 2nd season. I loved Dean. Because of the show I started watching Supernatural. It took me awhile to forget that Jared wasn't Dean anymore and that he was Sam who has a brother named Dean. It's weird to think of his as Dean again. Because he's been Sam to me for 11 years.

Exactly my thoughts and words - except that I started to watch Gilmore Girls since it first aired on TV. And yeah, trying to think Jared as Sam and not Dean was hard during the first season of Supernatural. Later on as I became Supernatural fan, in my head he's just Sam Winchester. That's him. But then, I've just watched the scene where Jared's 'Dean' bumped into Rory in the mart in the Gilmore Girls revival, it feels weird, in a good way. I had to momentarily remind myself that Jared was Dean Forester before he's Sam Winchester. Both are my favorite TV crushes anyways, so it doesn't matter. It's like a breeze of my childhood memories passed by in that 2mins plus footage.
