Now that is singing. I'm so grateful that I'm a lirico-spinto because if I were in her fach, I'd never sing a note. She is astonishing and marvelous. Just listen to some of the other videos of the Alto Rhapsody (by quite good singers) and hear the difference.

Which language is this? My mother tongue is German but I cant understand anything. And the sound? 🙈🙈🙈 is horrible ! People seem to think if one sounds hollow like a water can this is a contralto. No its just sound production! Listen to her in her first years, there she sings much better.

Listen to Jamie Barton. Its so much better. This here is just bad. Ewa was a great koloratura singer.

Its bad, contraltissima is right. She is struggeling al lot! And I dont understand ONE word, as a native german speaker. Beside her very ugly sound production. She sounded always like a muffled watercan. And don't tell me, that contraltos have to sound like this! No they do not! There are great examples from the past who havea clean and bright sound. Podles darkened her voice, listen to her when shewas young, tere you can hear her natural real sound!
