Hayden experienced pretty harsh backlash when Episodes 2 and 3 first came out. It was sad to see... But now, he's been fully accepted into the Star Wars fandom and it's completely beautiful. The message here isn't to hate on others so quickly because those same people are the ones you would be excited to welcome back 20 years later.

They needed more Hayden and Ewan scenes. Simple as that. Hayden Christensen is truly amazing at wielding a lightsaber. It was a golden opportunity to have more of Anakin's dark side prowess from the prequels revisited in interesting ways. We could have seen more of Order 66, or a Clone War expedition we never got to see. Or even just Hayden in the Vader suit trying (and failing) to defeat the Emperor and learning his place. Or just some more scenes of Anakin and Obi-Wan simply talking to each other about life, being friends. Anything. Hammer home the tragedy. The possibilities were limitless. Sigh.

While I think Matt Lanter was pulling off Hayden's deep voice for Clone Wars. Hayden did also watch all of the Clone Wars and Rebels before filming Obi-Wan, and he probably thought his deeper voice and the portrayal Lanter did with the Deeper voice was better so he seemed to use a Deeper voice for the "Obi-Wan Show".

Over all, I enjoyed the Kenobi show and Ewan is always fantastic as Obi-Wan (even if the movie or show he is in, isn't perfect). Having Hayden back and seeing those two on screen together again was something special.

I can’t remember the exact words but they said something like “We stayed in touch after we finished the prequels but once we reunited for filming, it had been about 7 years since we’ve seen each other. Perhaps life got in the way, we messaged here and there though. But before filming, we walked around a park for a couple hours and just caught up.” As I’m typing this, I’m positive it was Ewan.

This series didn't give us the story we thought we could have, but some moments are great and endearing. Makes me think that this should've been a 2 hours movie instead. Reva stories could've been far shorter and the action could have more weight. The final episode is rather good, but problematic as well. I still can't accept the fact that Kenobi and Vader fought 10 years prior to ANH. Vader : "When I left you...." Obi Wan : "Well, I'm the one who leave, in both occasions."

Because anakin and obi wan lived through the prime of the jedi order. They were trained by real jedi masters. Rey wasn't even trained in the traditional jedi way. She had to learn on the fly. Same way why luke was terrible against vader in their duel.

Doesn't matter when they were released, whenever they re visit the prequel era they turn the intensity up, and it slows down the further away you get from that era.

There was a little more insight with the animated Clone Wars series. They fought the clone wars for 3 years and the entire time Anakin and Padme were secretly married. This series is also important to really see how Anakin became well known as a great Jedi.

People take the piss out of modern day lightsaber fights, and I do agree to a point that Disney doesn't understand lightsabers or they're afraid of showing dismemberment or brutal harm to people, but I do love that they use practical glowing sabers to give the scenes a much needed ambiance. Early on they never really glowed and reflected off of surfaces, but in The Clone Wars animated series, they started having them illuminate surfaces. They're LIGHTsabers, and them illuminating surfaces is both practical from a logical standpoint, but then also you get very epic shots of Hayden/Anakin in Vader's suit with his mask cut open and the angry red light illuminating his features, while Ewan/Obi-Wan's saber is illuminating his features making camera changes from one side to the other is very Dark Side - Light Side.

That makes sense though. Prequels were the height of the Jedi. Always fighting always training. The originals and sequels there wasn’t any jedis and no fighting. All Kylo had for training was Luke who he himself was basically self taught on books.
