I had to pause the video while I laughed at the cordless hammer! I have quite a few of those. These marathon drop-off unboxings are fascinating. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Elaine! I was tempted to nail a cord to a hammer handle just for effect! 🤣🤣

True, I have done that before! I'm sure my girls can put them back to work in the kitchen though 😊👍

Another good one Chris! Well done. I wonder if I was the only one who was chuffed when you saved the magnifying glass.🔍😀

Haha, well I'm glad there was at least one of you! Thanks Dee! 😀😀

Thanks Chris, there really is a bit of everything in this haul, not a huge amount of value in this video, but it looks like there is better to come ! You are doing society a service here and it's always good to see how responsible you are weighing value against safety, a lot of cheap imported extensions aren't that safe in the first place so it's safest to assume old ones are better scrapped ! I do like Christmas lights but they're all but impossible to repair these days and many people seem to treat them as use once disposable items. I had one of those little Bosch clippers, they were quite handy but you had to resist the temptation to put your fingers near the sharp end ! 😬
@TheUltimateRecyclerАй бұрын
Thanks Andy - yeah not huge value but then it didn't take long to process! Yep, better stuff to come (if it all works ok!) Watch those fingers! 😱

Chris - Christine already knows that you are collecting boom boxes 😂 - she commented on the ones in your studio the other day!!

Haha! I just read this to her and she cracked up! 🤣🤣 I'm a little behind on her videos! 🙄🤣

That electric hammer is pretty neat id like to try one some day

Yeah, I think it's worthy of an external power supply test to see how well it works!

Old Nicad and Nimh era tools can be adapted to use other Battery systems, using 3d printed or abs adapters, I’ve done few permanent conversions on various makes, not the best thing for tradesmen using things day in day out but excellent for Diy or hobbyists, they work well for me.

Nice Matthew, I must look into this more! Thanks mate 👍😊

That was a great variety of good useful stuff. I like that Bosch trimmer. Please let us know what that hammer thing is if it works. 👍

I'm hoping I can at least test that hammer thing Alex - I feel like it would be fun to use! 👍

That battery on your cordless hammer you just need kickstarted. Just look at how many volts the battery pack is. I just put some voltage at low current into the battery. About 5 minutes just keep touching to make sure it's not getting hot. After you get some voltage into it then, put it back on the charger straight away. I thought you were dodges up some power to it just to demonstrate how the cordless hammer works. Cheers Graham

Good idea mate, I'll see if I can jump start it! Yeah - I might hook up my power supply in the next episode and give it a run 👍😊

I've used them on foam before but not fibreglass!

the battery and charger from the hammer thingy looks like they would fit a Dremel or a bosch c/less screwdriver..worth checking them out?
@TheUltimateRecyclerАй бұрын
Yeah, but I think the battery is stuffed! The charger may be ok for another tool though. I'm going to pull the battery pack apart and see if I can fix it!
