Ben it’s summer in Canada my wife and I have a TV on the deck and set up a few snacks and drinks and enjoy your adventures. We raise a glass to a true entrepreneur. We really enjoy hearing about Australia . It’s good to see the recycling and the volumes one man can produce. I recycle cars on a small scale keeping them out of the wreckers for another 6-10 years giving them a second life. This gives people who can afford a new car a well maintained reliable for a low cost. So cheers Ben. Thanks Rodney

Hello Ben I like any tear down sessions normal pcs to the oddball stuff. The oddball stuff is funny watch we try to figure out what to take loose before you do the gf gets alittle excited when she thinks you starting on the wrong side lol I have to close the window at times like today's teardown neighbors think we're fighting because she's yelling at you. I use to watch your videos alone thinking she wouldn't like this stuff we watch your videos when nothing good on tv thanks for sharing.

Hey Ben - take a file to those risers that you thought might be stainless - they are probably brass. It's the plating over the brass that's slightly magnetic. The same with those hex screws that you broke off - many of them are brass with nickel plating. Great scrap!

Just recently got into scrapping and have learned more than I dreamed. One question though, what do you do with the gold pins you keep? Break them down chemically, sell as is, or what? All I see on you tube is chemical break down, and I dont want to go that route. Thank you for what you do!

Vehicle registration in Finland 25 € (about 40 Australian dollars). Insurance with full bonus is about 200 €/year. Full insurance with full bonus is about 700 €/year. You have to register your vehicle just once. If and when you sell it, next owner does the registration. MOT (once/year) 50 €. With new cars, first MOT is after 4 years.

In the UK, when we purchase a 2nd hand vehicle, we have vehicle excise duty to pay. The cost depends on the emissions band the vehicle falls into. The other thing we need to have in place prior to purchasing VED is insurance. Unlike you Aussies, we have 3 choices. 3rd party - covers damage done to other people and objects. 3rd party fire and theft - adds cover in case the vehicle gets stolen or catches fire and finally, fully comprehensive - covers everything. The actual cost of transfer between owners is free. Like the VED, our MOT is a legal requirement and needs renewing annually at the current cost of around £56 (this is the maximum an mot centre can charge. The actual certificate costs them nothing).
@dudefromfinland34643 жыл бұрын
@@ramblingman8992 We have kind the same charges on emission. My 1990 Dodge truck fee is about 400 €/year. The highest you can get.

how do you know how much battery time you have left? And how many batteries do you use per episode? and can you use your battries from your older go-pros, do you edit your own,? Do you have someone come in and help you off camera, cause that is a lot of work for 1 person. I like the van, now i want to see you chop up the old van and make an enclosed trailer, Spend a little and send it out to be made into a trailer, that way you can try out that new r hitch, you can sell the engine, trannie, and part out what you do not need to make it into a trailer, I mean look on the bright side even a mirror costs around 300.00 dollars, make sure to build a place for the chickens so they can go with you.

Here in Nova Scotia Canada my registration is due at the end of this month. For a 2011 ford f150 truck its $221.70 Canadian dollars for 2 years. but we also have to have a safety inspection sticker every 2 years and pay 15% sales tax every time the vehicle is sold, not just the first time, every time. So if i buy a used truck for $10,000 i have to pay the government an extra $1,500

Pickups. The possibility for those would pick up from mid-year going into the new financial year, as businesses buy up on junk orders to write-off as tax deductions. Coming into May-June " its tax time ! ". So, in keeping with the ideology of buy up on tax-deductible junk in lieu of simply paying the equivalent in tax, they'll buy up on massive surpluses of new PCs and assorted electronics which, although applicable to their businesses [ thus the tax deductibility ] they'll never even take out of the packaging, except for maybe 1 % of it. But, as much as they would like to, they can no longer simply dump it all in general waste, and even then preferably in someone else's, if they could get away with that and thus avoid waste disposal imposts. And so they just stockpile it until such time as they can get a freelancer to come in and take it all away, at minimal or nominal to no cost.
