So good to see you out having fun street scrapping again. A great PC and cord food day. I love when I find trampolines. They're worth about $30 at today's shred prices but the pieces are odd shaped which can be problematic.

22:21 those light bulbs probably have plenty of life in them. I find that when people throw out the lamp with the light bulb in it, then they've upgraded and the lights work. I haven't paid for a light bulb in many years and I have about 20 extras too.

To get that big awkward steel you'd need an American-style pickup truck. Piles sound like the ettiquette isn't too far off American yard sales. Or supposed to be anyway. There's always one rude cobber in any lot; it's good that you don't descend to their level.

That was so rude of that guy to jump your pile. And his justification was that people do it to him all the time? What a jerk and he's been a jerk for at least 15 years, likely his entire life. Compare that to you being so understanding with that guy that was looking for a PC.

@scottw34362 жыл бұрын
Hey, how are you doing? I like watching your videos and to tell you that you are probably the most respectful scrapper I have ever seen.i'm In the state's and I see alot of folks going through piles of house hold odds and ends and what not and they just leave stuff scattered everywhere and it really looks like a tornado came through and if it's windy out some of the small stuff ends up all over the place. So even though I don't have put my large rubbish out at certain times, I appreciate it, and I am sure the people do as well. Second, you're in some nice-looking neighborhoods, and I wish I was out there and score some nice furniture. I've seen some nice clean stuff in your videos and I'm thinking I wish I needed it or was able to store it until I could sell it or keep it. Next thing is I've seen your house or yard and garage stuffed with pc's laptops etc including tubs and wheelie bins full of electronics for sale and or recycling. My question is one: How do you not get harassed by the city or township you live in, two, how do you keep the mice and rats away because you have so much I can't see how you keep them away. Now you've spoken about coming stateside and you like winter. Winter in the states can be beautiful in some parts and brutal in other's. Recently out east in New Hampshire in the mountains they hit almost a record cold temperature of 108 degrees below zero. Snow is nice but it's a hassle to drive around in. Depending on where you go they use a variety of compounds to keep the roads wet or dry such as salt in different strengths in order to keep the roads from icing over or they'll use sand which mixed with snow sand and slop which is melted snow already mixed with some salt but more sand is pretty much useless. The best time to come to the states is early to mid spring because it's not hot or humid. Example, you go to Vegas in July when temperatures are usually upper 90's low hundreds most of the day, then your drinking water or Gatorade like it's going out of style. I know it's hot by you in the summer and it's dangerous if your not hydrated. Funny thing is now you got me "cord food"

I never see days like you see scrapping. I mean we do not have large rubbish days. Every two weeks people are to put out the large items for pick up. But I still never see that much trash stacked along curb side ever in Madison,Wisconsin. College neighborhoods are good for scrapping a couple times a year. But whenever i see a scrapper standing at a pile,.I will not jump in on his find. rather i'd come back to it.. It only happened to me once,i know how you felt. Sure had your share of run -ins with scrappers for one fine Sunday. It is good the mini-Harley dude didn't start swinging at you.

S I noticed that you left some nice looking pots and pans in previous and the current video for someone else to take it. I'm afraid there might be people who want stuff like those but do not have sufficient time to get it in time before the trash compactor comes over. Is there any way you could collect those and give it away to a local charity shop or something? Just a suggestion. 😊😅

I'm a bit late to this party. I've seen Ben take those juvenile motor bikes [ in worse condition than that ] to the scrapyard. I'm thinking that both Ben and Bloke would have taken both the drum kit and the bike. Bloke was gonna bestow both probably on his kid[s]. I dunno about him being the scrapper that he said he was. He might occasionally poke about street piles for keepers. I reckon he could have been given clear dibs on it all. The people putting that stuff out were chaffed to see the stuff all go. Stuff which their own kids had since outgrown and since moved on from.
