E-Waste Pick Up Adventures - Two Jobs for the day

E-Waste pick-up's are rolling along with clients cleaning out before the end of year break.
Today I had 2 jobs in the same area so was convenient but not huge, although I did get a new school so that might turn out good over time.

The stairs near the beginning reminded me of a pick up I did about a year ago. The strap on my cart broke while negotiating a very large stand up printer down a flight of stairs. Lets just say I got a head start on the scrapping.

Ben, I suggest getting some soft rubber or foam pipe wrap for your hand truck. Easy on the finish and gives grip to your load when tilting it back.

If you do decide to do another scrapping marathons make sure to take "before" and "after" snapshots". A pile of PCs "before" and a pile of scrapped and sorted useful bits "after".

this is a great vid! i like these as it shows the other side of scrapping... the commercial side. it fascinates me why these folks cant reuse these systems in other ways! (yea windows vers out of date, hardware is too slow etc etc i know, i know) but they could give them to homeless shelters etc... bit of securing up, homeless folks could use em to find jobs/flats etc. sorry, got a bit whatever the word is! lol ben, just keep em coming! what may not be popular now will be in the future! when i first found the channel i watched a few of these and was amazed what you were getting! then i watched the street scrapping vids... they both are way cool! 😊 dont overdo the scrapping of stuff... we still need you 😊

I think those heaters are meant to stay on 24 hrs a day or good for welding rod cupboard protect your rods keep them dry.

Those keyboards may be bluetooth, rather than RF. If that is the case, you'd just need a bluetooth dongle, rather than a specific usb for that specific keyboard. Maybe try it out with your phone?

the heaters: just make it 10 bux each. thats 80 if U can sell all the rest of them. way more a bargain than scrapping them for just a few grams of wire. and don't forget all the work and time u would have to spend... argh... even If U sell 'em for 5bux.
