Good morning Arnie and Lynn. Look at all those beautiful faces of the ewes. The glow of motherhood. Love them. Listen to Scotty purr. Such a nice boy. The ladies are looking quite happy with their bale of hay. Pregnant mommies saying yummy yummy. Arnie sporting a beard is looking good for the weather. Now Arnie you have to keep your sweet wife warm. Boy tgat wind is whipping today. Brrrrr. I am liking your cute red pig tails. Such a cutie. Keep warm. Blessings and big big hugs to you both. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😉😉😉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lynn & Arnie, your ewes are looking really close, any day now! In great solid condition. This cold is brutal. I just want to stay warm under blanket, hard to be happy out in it, so easy to procrastinate. But Life, chores and animals won’t wait. Lot of hot coffee n tea breaks. Im team Suffolk but those Dorset seem to have more udders ready. We’re in for another snow storm tonight, Ugh. You guys stay warm and safe. I love your tunnel idea, Lynn. No more slipping around on ice and biting breezes. Looking forward to your next vid.

Dear Lynn, well sometimes plans are made and it's different then, as you planned to do yesterday to export the rest of the manure and eventually something else has to be done, that's the way it is, but it works out the next day. You have a bigger winter there, and so the sheep inside certainly like the kittens. I don't think the first lambs will be long in coming, and I'm tipping one of those dorsets, and I'm looking forward to having those little babies. Have a great day and a lot of warmth at home. Sincerely, The Krasava 👍👍👍💕💕

Have you wondered why most cats pick the same spot to be fed at and why they seem to mostly respect each other during feeding? They are born with this concept: Yes, kittens quickly develop a preference for one or two specific nipples to nurse from. A study of 52 kittens found that by postnatal day 3, each kitten had a preferred nipple, and 86% of kittens used the same nipple most often. When cats live in social groups, it makes more sense that everyone follows some basic rules, than have a chaotic competition every day.
@alisoncummins272611 сағат бұрын
I’ve heard this is because kittens have scratchy-scratchy claws, and fighting over nipples would injure the mother. Puppies aren’t scratchy and can just push eachother aside without scratching their mother up.
@gregedmand993911 сағат бұрын
@alisoncummins2726 This is a really interesting way to understand how different species evolved certain behaviour. Cats have many weapons that can inflict a lot of damage in a short space of time. The kitten that was more peaceful with its siblings is more likely to grow into healthy adulthood and pass along genes to the next generation. A kitten (or piglet) that fights and scraps constantly would be disputive to everyone, lowering their chances of healthy growth. So over time, being a better family member that respects the rights of others, becomes a behaviour trait for the species. Natural selection in action. We as humans, have evolved traits that make social cooperation one of our most vital assets. And it's why most of us who encounter those like Sovereign Citizens, find their actions so disturbing, as a gut reaction.

Thanks for your informative video on pre lambing. I agree with Arnie that sheep need shelter in Canadian winters. I give my sheep a option to lay down in the enclosed barn or stay in the loafing pen. They are usually in the loafing pen until about 10-15 below. My bet is the Suffolk's lamb first??
