Ewhurst Green - Peek at Peaks - some visiting class 44 'Peaks

Take a trip back to the early days of BR TOPS with a visit of some iconic Class 44 "Peak" locomotives to Ewhurst Green Model Railway! This session gives fellow enthusiasts a chance to run their locomotives while their layouts are under construction, while I get to enjoy the variety of beautifully detailed models.
Locomotives Featured:
44 005 Cross Fell (sound-equipped)
44 006 Whernside (weathered finish)
44 007 Ingleborough (sound-equipped)
44 008 Penyghent (Bonus: Oldest of the bunch!)
These impressive Class 44 models, all produced by Bachmann, showcase the evolution of detailing in model railways.

Ingleborough was the only one of the first ten peaks i saw running in may 1977

Very nice to see these running! 😎 Not seen the sidings before - they look really wide so how can you reach failed trains? 🤔

Thank you for your support - it is much appreciated! 👍 _Sidings are close to completion with the board widening out from 2'6" to 5'. In order to gain access a 4' wide section folds down back underneath the main baseboard. More details can be found on www.EwhurstGreen.com_
