Parramatta is the second largest City CBD in Sydney’s West with plenty of food, café and restaurants. We are taking you on a Sydney food tour in Parramatta and showing you where to eat in Sydney's Parramatta and what to eat there. Missed part 1 of What to eat in Parramatta?
• What to EAT in Sydney ...
As a Japanese food lovers, we needed to go this first place, Kanzo Sushi, a Japanese restaurant located on George St next to Meraki Café. Kanzo is one of the best yet cheap Japanese restaurant we have been so far. We only order the chicken karaage, grilled scallop sushi and grilled salmon rolls but everything is so fresh, delicious and affordable with generous portion. We would definitely come back for more as they have other Japanese dishes like tempura, bento, sashimi, udon, ramen etc. If you are looking for best Japanese restaurant in Sydney, Kanzo Sushi must be on your list to go and we think this must be one of the cheap food in Parramatta.
Our second food spot Swanky Noodle, unassuming Chinese restaurant on Church St near Parramatta Westfield train station. This place is famous among locals for their handmade noodles. Swanky Noodle is a North Eastern Xi’an Chinese cuisine restaurant specialising in wide chewy hand pulled noodle made fresh to order. We love the Xibo Style spicy wide noodle with sliced beef.
Lastly dessert heaven for Helmi, Bay Vista in Parramatta. This dessert café is really big and menu can be overwhelming with so much dessert options. They seem to have all kind of desserts from huge bowl of ice cream, waffle, brownie, crepe, fondue, shakes and more. We tried choc brownie with roasted hazelnut with tiramisu ice cream sundae. For takeaway i like “sushi hub” - but im still trying to find the best sushi! Thanks for the idea hehe Also, Sushi Rio is not bad for sushi train - affordable. Sushi Hotaru is hit and missed for the quality sometimes😆 Makoto used to be really good but quality is now sometimes missed too 😅

Harvey's is awesome. Try the philly cheese steak and the Nashville hot chicken sandwiches. Also the bakery next door, Threefold, does great coffee and amazing fancy croissants. Yum!

I usually go to Jc Dragon Fusion, as it’s just about one store next door to Swanky Noodle in Parramatta also on Church Street, they do some lunch specials ranging from $9.80-$15.80 & for pricey’r dishes they also have Live Lobsters, Crabs & Fish.

Love freshly made to order sushi ❤️🤤 Good to know it’s quite affordable with good portion too! That’s very important haha. Ah Nick loves his chicken karaage 👌🏻 When you come down to Melbourne, try chicken karaage at Hakata Gensuke ramen shop. Hands down the best karaage we’ve tried in Melb, bonus their ramen is also the best here ☺️

Yay! You went to Kanzo!!! Their kaarage is delicious...and the sauce is AWESOME!!! I’ve tried Harvey’s when it opened up. Not sure if anything has changed, but i was very disappointed with it when I received it...it was dry and not worth the price you pay for it.
