Thank you cradle Catholics! I was born in 1967 and converted as an adult. I still remember wondering about hot cross buns and meat abstinence on Fridays. I prayed to St John about the Bible and I got an answer. Sonething told me the Holy Father is right, Mother Teresa is right. I wanted to learn how to worship, so I went to rcia.

Thank you for the clarification about the abstinence. Hope the US will go back to the roots... After relocating from Europe to USA I was always wondering why the same should be catholic religion has different rules about Friday's abstinence.
