A marked lack of empathy is one of the hallmarks of psychopathy. Psychopaths do not have the same capacity for human feeling as the rest of us; they do not appear moved by the things that usually deeply affect others, such as seeing fellow human beings suffer or in distress. And this is perhaps why they do not experience genuine remorse for the hurt and misfortune that they inflict. They can easily lie, manipulate, and hurt others because they do not feel empathy or guilt. Psychopaths realize, recognize, and fully comprehend the distress their victims are feeling. They simply, though, do not feel it themselves.

@oliver_twistor3 ай бұрын
@@Vitamin_71 It's hard to gauge popularity of the opposition in a dictatorship. People don't want to end up in one of Putin's prisons, so most people keep their mouths shut. You're acting like free speech and free press is the norm in Russia. Did you know that women are rarely raped in Islamist countries, such as Afghanistan? Is it because Muslim men are all feminists and never treat women badly? Of course not. It's because women don't dare to report it to the police because they may be accused of sex outside of marriage and get imprisoned or killed themselves. Also, in many countries, it's legal for a husband to rape his wife. What I mean by this is it's not strange that Navalny only had 4 % support. Firstly, from what source are you taking this number; not from a government controlled Russian source, I hope, because that will be very skewed. Secondly, if I accept 4 % as a truthful number (for the sake of argument), that is just the people who are willing to risk their lives to _openly_ support him. Behind that 4 % there is a tidalwave of silent support, or at least would-be support if they had access to truthful news sources outside of their country.

@dark_master_Makei do you mean collaborants with Russia? For sure, they should be in prison in a time of war. They are breaking the law. Ukraine has their own problems, and its not a perfect country, but their situation with a freedom of speech is way more better than Russia's . Even now in a time of war many public figures and journalists are criticizing their government freely in Ukraine .
