I use to go to Taiwan a lot when I was designing bicycle parts. I met the nicest people there, from Chinese and other Country people residing there. I even met some people from the Philippines that were working on bridges and roadways. I’m going home to visit the family for a little bit and then coming back. Taiwan has been a part of China for all of history except 1895 to 1945 when it was ruled by Japan. Even the Taiwanese constitution says that Taiwan is part of China.

You gotta be proud of the young men and women from all backgrounds representing our country. I tried to join when I was 19 but 2 years prior I was jumped by 5 cops for no reason. They beat me up and charged me with assault and resisting arrest. I was 17 with no money or support and had to take a plea for something I didn't do. When I told the recruiter what happened to me he packed up his things and said, "sorry I can't help you." Because now I have a felony conviction! Those cops destroyed the positive direction my life was heading. Since the age of 5 I've always mentioned that I would never be a criminal like my uncle. It didn't work because I still became a statistic. 😮‍💨

@@winterxx1555 Yeah, unfortunately the french boats use nuclear technology that is not available to Australia under parts of the NPT. Same reason we can't currently build nuclear power stations. A petition from 2022 is before parliament for discussion on amending the NPT agreement to allow sealed modular nuclear power generators and possibly full nuclear power plants. The US, UK nuclear propulsion technology falls withing the current allowance for nuclear devices used in Australia so no amendment is required for those subs :)

I recently went on a business trip to china visiting HK, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing. As an American, I totally expected China to be like North Korea but oh boy I was completely wrong. Now I understand why Chinese people do not see anything wrong with their country and why they think America is rather F'd up right now. Sure there are cameras everywhere (big brother monitoring your every move) and QR codes for everything (from getting out of public parking space to looking at information about different flowers at the park). But aside from those, no cops anywhere, not even trash on the ground. Everything felt SUPER safe even at night time. Also no homeless people (homeless people are automatically sent to jail). Cars and motorcycles can't speed. All of these regularly committed petty crimes that happen in America are non existent because of the cameras. Also free healthcare for the whole country and it's citizens. Coming from LA where we deal with homeless problems daily, gun violence, idiotic drivers and not safe at night time to go anywhere, and cops everywhere, it almost felt like China found the "solution" to our problems. Albeit, when I visited South Korea and Japan they were just as clean and great WITHOUT the cameras. However, with Americans living the way they've been living all these years, it is impossible to educate everyone like that and we by nature do not like to follow rules and our government lol. We like the freedom and do whatever we want. The biggest lesson that I learned is every human are the same in the way we live and we all just want to be happy. It's the 0.000001% of the people in the higher power causing problems and wars for everyone just for their own economic advantage. And they use media like this to create hate towards other countries. Our Soldiers, as much as I respect them and thank them, are just chess pawns for politicians.

@@Ottovonostbahnhof I hope so. Most Americans are uneducated and believe in everything they see on the news whether it's cnn or fox. They always think one side of the politics is correct and the other side is wrong (biden vs trump) when both are equally corrupt. There will never be justice in politics and the "good" politicians just don't exist. They had to do something bad to get themselves there. Sometimes, people just need to focus on their own lives instead of wasting time hating on others. But it's easier to do as told and believe in what you see on youtube/tv.

I have heard that as well but China has a really, really dark side too. People live in absolute fear of their government. Is that a good thing or bad thing? Is their methods the way to run society? All we have to do is get tough on crime, go after the cartels and life would improve 2000%.

Only people that live in fear in china are criminals and homeless people. the dark side is what the media wants you to see just like how when I turned on chinese news at their hotel it only showed US homeless and gun problems lol
