Amazing locomotives. its a shame BR built locos even new are scraped and we get American diesels to replace them. How sad.

Same with the Class 60’s unfortunately. Remember both getting built and now sadly going. The Class 37’s still going strong thou. Hopefully the 60’s will have some new lease of life if the refurbishment happens with Land Recovery

@arthurgrowler5749 Yeah, 90s 91s,60s, all still have a good life span. Terrible to see an of these rust away in sidings or industrial yards. Fingers crossed they will see a new lease of life.

I.still say DB are scum for getting rid of their 90s...couldn't be arsed to look after them. Contrast this with freightliner who still run all theirs on the WCML
