Thinking like a CEO has little to do with having great idea and everything to do with the willingness to exploit your fellow countryman.

I know right? Most CEOs make millions for running businesses into the ground and laying people off.

Yep. Especially Schmidt, one of the most vile human beings to walk the earth. Right down there with scumbags like Bill Gates

I absolutely love this as we work in healthcare-swishy stuff & integrating network effects. BIM modeling & 3D modeling in diagnostics. Infancy stage the models we work in simulation. Integration of Marsha Meyer’s work in design thinking. Who would be ideally to connect with Eric? Good to see you two. I learned this by Crisp-R in 2012 & cures in cancer/HIV. Daniel Kraft comes to mind for imaging & then the AI build with Marsha.

Excellent conversation. Elon was correct, "AI holds the biggest threat to civilization." I now realize AI also has the biggest potential to advance civilization at a pace ~1,000 times faster than what we've EVER seen. Will the rapid advancement be good or bad? There should definately be insight and oversight on deep AI!

Is not ironic that the whole conversation is about unprecedented artificial intelligence but at the end of it you fall to difficulties of working with industry leaders like Steve Jobs. Steve Job work was to advance technology to serve customers better than rivals and so sell more devices. Would this role be prone for narrow scope AI replacement ?

Eric predicted AGI in 2042 and said there was "speculation" that these systems would be able to rewrite their code. I think he spoke last April and the video was posted in Oct. Now we already have "sparks of AGI" and no need to speculate about systems rewriting their code -- they can do it. I suggest we start thinking much more seriously about how to create safe AGI. Time is running out and the stakes are much higher than winning the Silicon Valley sweepstakes. Here's one video / channel that is pointing the way forward to safe AGI: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5vUc6V_nLh_mqM

There are very few smart people, and even they are not as privileged as they should be, which is holding us back from exponential progress.
