Malaysia would've been a great country, standing alongside Korea, if it wasn't for what he did to Anwar If PH wins, he's to be sentenced to all sentences that Anwar has served. Anwar was treated like an animal during his term We don't forgive and we don't forget

He is the architect controlling the Judiciary, Legislative and Executive power during his term and use in the persecution of Anuar, of which Najib now improves on.

At the end of the day, Mahathir anointed two successors. Anwar he put in jail. Najib he is desperately trying to topple. What does that say about his leadership and legacy?

The only way for Chinese to prosper in Malaysia is for the Malays to be corrupt. Example...the Malays sells away their contracts which they get from the government to the Chinese who then creates jobs for the people with the ensuing projects generated from those contracts.The lazy Malays will then use the easy money which they earned from selling away the contracts to the Chinese by going on vacation or overseas trips. Once they run out of cash. the lazy Malays will resort to the same old tactic of selling off more contracts to the Chinese. In the meantime, the smart Chinese will get richer and richer with all the contracts which they bought and from which they make more money through projects. That is why even after nearly 60 years of Umno rule, the Chinese are still the powerhouse behind Malaysia's growth. And that is a FACT.

After Mahathir, no body will be suitable to be PM until his son takes over. When that happens Malaysia will be like heaven with no problems, very clean with no corruptions. All of us will be very happy especially Mahathir if he is still alive.

IBRAHIM YAHYA I think mahathir son can't become the prime minister,you look at najib his father was also former prime minister of malaysia his father was a good man.unlike najib who is a crook,because najib live in lavish lifestyle so i think a son of a prime minister cannot be a prime minister😊

it is not in the constitution or law whatever but why can't we directly elect a prime minister or president?
@CutePuppy5208 жыл бұрын
Agreed...

Because there would be too many choices and in the end, majority would oppose to whoever is elected. That is why in a democratic country, a representative is given the opportunity to represent the idea of a mindset of those who support him. If i choose A, you choose B, him choose C, she choose D, them (for the sake of argument, make it 4 pax) choose E, etc.... when the final draw comes out, and E is elected (since there are 4 people voted him as opposed to the other representatives which have only 1 vote) - I, you, him, and her will against E. Therefore, upon E's first day in office, 50% wont obey his policy while 50% fully support. At the end of the day, there would be practically no democracy at all.
@capespring8 жыл бұрын
Sam Fonder in that case make it a 2 rounds system. 2 candidates with the highest votes advance to the 2nd round which is the final round.
@samfonder70448 жыл бұрын
So basically American Democracy? Where in 2 candidates who have just passed through multiple other candidates from their own party (Clinton, Trump) will be campaigning against each other to "win" the votes of citizens before the final election is being held. Not entirely pure democracy, but still a democracy. But then again, referring to your first comment, it wont be a "direct" election as you wanted, as people vote those who represent their party and not certain individual. Example, "I am a conservative, but i dont like Trump, so in order to see my party wins, I have to vote Trump". Catch my drift?
@capespring8 жыл бұрын
Sam Fonder 'directly' means don't have to go through an electorate. 1 vote = 1 vote voting for someone in order to vote for another someone is still democracy but strange.
