I, too, experienced a NDE in 2010 from nearly drowning. The one thing that stands out the most from my NDE, is the overwhelming feeling of pure love and feeling as if you are truly home. There are no earthly human words to accurately describe the intensity of the love I felt. This is why I no longer fear dying, I know there is still good for me do. Blessings to all and foregiveness.

I too had a nde . Saw the bright light that I couldn't look at ,because of the brightness. I felt the feeling of love , and peace on a level that no words can describe . I heard a voice of thunder that resonated through my soul . It said son I do not know thee . I was pulled into pure darkness . Was brought up Christian , but was not living for Christ . I began to say the Lord's prayer to no avail . Not until I called out for Jesus to save me . I woke up in my body in a cold sweat shaken to the core . I knew I had to get right with God .

Jesus is making his point well when he said lack of knowledge because since you don't know you thought the wrong way about having a true relationship with God and Jesus. People that think they way you think are easily deceived. You prob think of religion like the Catholics do. See that isn't true Christianity. I had a NDE. You tree looks exactly like the tree that I climbed to the top where I was conveyed to the other side. The opening at the base of the tree is spot-on! I looked into that hole and saw hundreds of thousands of souls in an infinite space walking up and down cliffs and Jesus was there at the top of a mountain. I decided that I needed to get to the top of the tree climbing on the outside. I finally reached the top and it was a beautiful carpet of branches with flowers and there were others there waiting. I realized that I was in the right space but didn't know what to expect. Later, I started to drift in the sky weightless heading towards a brilliant blue sky with a white light. Next to me was a yellow amber shape. I looked back at the tree and was initially anxious about leaving - - but as the yellow amber colored clear object came to me I felt total peach and immediately realized a feeling of all-encompassing love and my place in the universe all made sense to me. As I went towards the white light I was so joyful. I ended up in a darkened large space with barely any light with figures in the background light highlighted by the light on the edges of the large room. The first person that approached me was a man in a uniform. When I saw him I instantly cried with joy as he had been my best buddy in a past life. I knew him and instantly remembered how and why he was important to me and was so pleased to see him. Although we didn't talk we were having a conversation. Another person walked up slowly with a smile. It was my former Girlfriends Grandma "MaMaw" that I was extremely close with who had passed a few years before. She smiled and greeted me warmly and I was so happy to see her. I met other late family members and after about twenty greetings I moved towards a brightly lit arched brilliant doorway made of stones. I moved through the arched portal into the most beautiful wide open sunlit scene that I have ever seen. Beautiful rolling hills with a tree-lined forest well in the distance and literally thousands of acres covered with beautiful flowers with the wind softly blowing. I walked into the meadow and was taking it all in and I had two (what I think were angels) walking behind me. They watched me as I walked through the field gently following me. At some point I felt that they were telling me that I wasn't supposed to be there just yet and that I still had important things to do. I started to convey that I wasn't going back and that this is where I want to be. Being a salesman, I did my best to convince them and then realized that they were right. All conveyed without a word being spoken. I started to take a few steps back to the arched doorway and then was back in my body with my best friend trying to revive me after our space heater went out (in a very drafty hunting cabin) during the coldest winter in recorded history. We spent the next three hours getting warmed up in the car. This is the first time sharing this event and the tree that you sewed looks exactly like the one that I witnessed. I'm still wondering what the "Important Things" are and I live my life trying to do my best. Take care and God bless.

Thank you for sharing, but everything is not 100% perfect, nor do sentient beings behave perfectly. It is true that in the final & ideal state that supreme goodness can be achieved...but we choose to grow into that. And while in our corporeal forms, we must contend with and overcome the chaos that is a part of who we are. We are constantly choosing between love and chaos from one moment to the next, and we can observe this reality reflected in the world around us So if we make a mistake, we must see and own it, and then grow to become better, and thereby transform our world. The work/growth is never complete, there is still one more child to feed, more sickness to overcome, societies to transform, etc.

In John, light is also associated with distinguishing between reality and illusion, and between the true and the false John 1:4 - "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” 1 John 1:5 - "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness" 2 Corinthians 4:6 - "For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”amade his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.” 1 John 1:7 - "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. Psalm 119:105 - "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a Light unto my path " New Living Translation “Look! I stand at the door and knock. @@livalice2358 Here. Everywhere. We are like the individual fingers on a hand. We perceive the fingers as seperate, but the truth is that each one is connected to the palm, and there is only one hand. Separation is an illusion. We are all connected, individual tendrils of the source. There is only one. You ask me a question, but you are only asking a different version of yourself. Of ourselves. This version of us, which is called myself, is ancient. One that was there since the beginning. You are not seperate, though. This version of us is here to bring the rest of consciousness into assimilation. You are here for the same reason. And if you ever notice you've lost your focus, gently bring it back to the present moment, into the now. Much love to you.

I do think we are reborn souls. Ever since I was a small child, I use to tell my mother that I remembered the day she brought me home from the hospital. I told her my crib was covered with a vail and the crib was yellow and was against the long wall in our home's middle bedroom. I recall my mother coming in to pick me up and I was taking in all of the surrounding, like I knew what they were. I know I had oxygen coming into the crib as well. I asked my mother this many times, but she didn't really want to talk about it. When I asked my father, he confirmed that everything I told him was accurate. I was born premature, and my lungs needed assistance from additional oxygen. I think my mother was a little freaked out and that's why she didn't talk about it. I remember it as clear as today, 64 years later!

thank you SO much sharing your story. it really touched my heart in a special way. i am a vet and both of my sons are vets, the youngest is 100% disabled. there have been many times when i have felt overwhelmed. (oddly i found the most peace while working in djibouti). i have been meditating for years but since i reitred (from the DoD) i have had to put more time into the letting go thing. i prayed about how to let something or someone go where i could visualize their peaceful transfer out of my heart (because I can't change things) and send them to God. this is funny, not sure how it happened but one night i REALLY had something negative i needed to get out of my heart, mind and spirit. so the heavens sent to me this idea: I visualize the person, persons and/or situation getting in a hot air ballon. i pulled the cord and they peacefully rise up and start to drift away. in my heart i wish them well and know they will land where God wants them to be but never to return again. it's like magic!!!! thank you so very much, carla

I had a buddy years back and he was a really cool, older guy. We were probably 16 or 17 and he was close to 40. He could always be found sitting in the road in his electric wheel chair just sun bathing and listening to the birds. He was nearly completely paralyzed up to his neck. He could move his right arm some, but not in a useful way. He had been that way for 20 years. He was in college and at a pool party and he jumped in and went to the bottom and same thing happened, broke his neck. He told me that at first he wasn't paralyzed, but his friends pulled him out of the pool and when they did he said he immediately felt his entire body disappear. He was paralyzed from the moment forward and was on the college football team and was a great athlete. All in one split second everything changed. He passed way around the age of 45 as his health just started to tank. This guy smoked pot with us all the time and you would have to hold it up to his mouth. He did speed and even acid which I just could not imagine doing acid in that state, but he would laugh like crazy and have a great time like everyone else. I really liked that guy.

Whatever you are going through, ask the question in silence, what am I suppose to be learning from this experience. It is my sense that everything that happens in our lives, good or bad, is exactly what we need at that moment, there is a lesson in it for us & that is why we are going through it. The answer that keeps coming back for me is to be kind, forgive & be grateful.

I was thinking about this earlier. Something had happened that was very disappointing, and then I thought, yeah but what about this years-long effort in my life that didn't pan out? Long after this major disappointment, I realized that it would have been very bad if it had panned out, because it would have prevented me from doing what I am supposed to do. So this recent minor disappointment that I have built into a mountain in my mind, is something I should just accept and trust that it was meant on some level. I try very hard to understand, but maybe I should try just as hard to accept, without understanding. There's some fable which alludes to a woven rug with a beautiful design. You can't see the back though, and that's where there are all these hidden connections.
