You'll be surprised by much cheaper these ingredients become when you buy them in bulk from the producers themselves or a wholesaler. I buy my meat in bulk from stores that cater to restaurants and I can never stomach the normal prices in supermarkets. Scallops, salmon- in Japan at least if you buy in bulk, especially if it's frozen, they're really really cheap, cheaper than any other meat by pound maybe except chicken breasts.

My dad was an ex convict too, and he only told my sister and I about it when we were about 15 16. We were both really shocked, bec we had neverrrr thought that he would be an ex convict, bec he is successful, righteous, loving, etc. We asked him why didn't he tell us about it until then.
