In most cases when a great figure in the church passes a way some are laid to rest in those churches which they served most and if they had a massive impact. In Europe most men who are considered pious are buried in churches. In short its just to honour him.

That is a preservation for all Bishops, it is a tradition that dates back to the apostles. Remember Bishops occupy the seat of the twelve apostles. In every Cathedral you will find a place for burying the Bishop right inside the Church.

This millicent ouma has turned herself to be God... She is sitting on the throne JUDGING the living and the dead! Undoubtedly she knows very little about the Scripture. She thinks in a very narrow sense that the Bible fell down from heaven, ready written by God. She has no clue that the Bible is an expression of a Lived Faith by People within a tradition whose books have been sorted out, verified and put together by the community of believers (the Church). And for your information Millicent (and others who think like you), Jesus who is " the fullness of Revelation" never wrote any books, he also never asked anyone to write books, what he did was (and this is very important) to leave behind a Community of well formed Believers(Church). Now this community of believers in history continued to live the Teachings of Christ whereby some of the members put down in writing some of the Scripts that we read (in New Testament). All these scripts continously had to be ratified by this community of believers (the Church).... As it continued to live within a tradition. And remember, revelation still continues in that tradition..... That is why Jesus promised the Holy Spirit. "The Spirit will lead you to the complete truth".
