Ex-New Ager's Mission to Slay Demonic Forces After Escaping Witchcraft, Astrology

Tailah Scroggins felt dead inside. After growing up in a Christian home, she somehow fell into the occult, embracing astrology, witchcraft, and the new age. But after embarking on a dark journey and losing the will to live, she had an incredible interaction with Jesus that changed everything.
Today, Scroggins is an online evangelist, writer, and truth-teller on a mission to help others escape evil. She recently shared her story with "Billy Hallowell's Playing With Fire Podcast," explaining how she was raised in a Christian home and believed in God before stumbling into the occult.
She said she was first introduced to the New Age in high school when someone she trusted in her family came over and told her about astrology. "They had this big ... textbook of everything astrology and they were like, 'This describes my personality so perfectly - look what it says about you,'" Scroggins said. "I was caught off-guard, and I remember ... I was like, 'But how can this be true? If God created all of us and he made our personalities, how can a planet dictate my future or dictate my personality?'"
She said this was the first "seed of deception" the devil planted in her life, and her perspective started to shift. With her family friend stating God created astrology as a system "He put in order," she started down what she now believes was a dangerous path. interesting because its a double edged sword to say that we experience the supernatural. Had a routine of waking up at around 3am to urinate when i was about 6, one night I saw a dark entity in my passage that was darker then the black behind it. I have been a christian and intercessor for over 30 years. My niece who is in her 40s recently got involved in the occult because she miscarried and blames God. It grieves me that she has given up on the lord. She recently divorced and moved back into her parents home and they are christians. I know they are having a difficult time accepting her new beliefs and I know they have no peace in that home anymore. I can only pray that Jesus delivers her and breaks the curse put upon her. Because she is involved in the occult the rest of the family does not want to be around her. Its very sad and heart breaking. I have witnessed deliverances in church and I know Jesus can and will deliver people out of the devil's grip. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I was raised the same way. Only I started searching for God but not in a controlled atmosphere. I had been raised in a Pentecostal church where you couldn’t do anything even wear pants, jewelry or short sleeves. I truly didn’t know if God loved me. My search was for a true and loving God. So I tried Jehovah Witnesses, then I tried Mormonism and now they try to claim they are Christians. Eventually I finally found the one true God and learned that Jesus loved me.

It’s true I went through the same thing I couldn’t talk or do anything I was so oppressed and or demonized due to engaging as much as I wanted to in ignorance in a sin habit and I was a believer and I got very messed up - and later on after being set free of this I went on a haunted bus tour of savannah ga the bus had a sulfur smell pumped through it by the tour people. Five years later what appeared like a small ball of sulfur woke me up out of sleep in the middle of the night I couldn’t see it and later on I experienced it again when it came out of me in the form of a burp while watching a deliverance minister online. This stuff is real people. Jesus Saves and do all you can to avoid occult, anything you know to be or suspect to be sin, any bad influences on you and secular entertainment - flee it - you will wish you had if you don’t do this now and make a practice of it, seek God first our lives are a test and a battle at the same time - choose God

@@cindylee1692 What I think your husband refers to is the electrical connection we have in our physical bodies with the current in the earth. That is for real and I believe is how God will "change" us in the twinkling of an eye. Not sure exactly how He will accomplish that all at once but electrical/gravitational physics might be a part of it. There is something called "grounding" which animals even are aware of and which is how they go about trying to heal. When an animal digs a wallow or a bowel shaped hollow in the dirt and then lays there for long periods of time that animal is grounding. The current of the earth joins the animal's own electrical current and swaps out particles kind of like what happens from space particles that go into the core of our earth when it gets by the earth's magnetic shield. Anyway, all this to say not to worry about hubby's ideas there. I believe this is God's way and we've gone so far into the realm of this disconnected-from-creation way we've come to live we've forgotten how it feels to put our bare hands into the living soil and bare feet into the sand at the beach, etc., and have forgotten how special it is to be connected to God's gifts. The artificial way we live now is not anything like God meant for us as was in the garden of Eden. There's so much more to life than what we live.

When I was in college, way back in 1975, one of my best friends told me that he was a witch. He had a pentagram on his guitar case. I set him down and explained how dangerous it was to do what he was attempting to do. He believed me. He took the pentagram off his guitar case. The problem was that, at that time, I was not a very good Christian. I'm still not but at least better than I was back then. I didn't lead him to Christ. I have lost track of him. But after the moon- and the sun- eclipse around November December last year, I have very intense, sometimes luzid dreams. And when I wake up, there are one or two sentences with the main message sounding like an echo in my ears. So I can remember the important things. Very kind of the cosmic energy, because I am the best one in forgetting things. 😅 Take care, sister! No fear! 🪬

@@maler.michel Thanks for sharing your experiences. Sounds intense. God can and does speak in dreams although more often than not, he speaks through the word of God (ie the Bible). So any revelations and words from the Lord or Jesus should be able to be confirmed by the Bible. If not, it comes from another spirit. I'm not saying this out of fear and your path is your own. It's just that these are big issues that it is important to know your sources. There are many deceiving spirits in the world. I hope that you will consider what I am saying 🙏

Here's a question for you. I was raised christian. Since I was young I was sensitive to the spirit realm. I saw the hatman as a kid and that was my start. I'm an empath as well so I can feel others emotions and I've also had dreams of things before they happen usually years in advance. If I'd talk with the stereotypical Christian they'd say the gifts are demonic. I don't like when the cognitive dissonance prevents one from speaking fully. I never went to church that much (I was baptized as a kid) because I noticed that some Christians would operate in cultish behavior of judgement and shunning which is basically gossip and heavy superstition masked as discernment. "Judge not lest be judged" and "hate the sin, love the sinner" yet contradictory behavior would be the case. I didn't experience it much yet I knew. I had it happen once when I was older and went to church. I enjoy the message and the bible is full of wisdom, yet I'm drawn to the original bible because I believe that in the book some of it was edited by man to leave his mark in there and some things written would appear contradictory to the word. I believe Jesus existed and is real. I've had some formative experiences and I was drawn to the new age. I had a crystal collection. My goal is to help others. I am sensitive that I feel the presence of spirits l can't see them but I can sense them that and I observe patterns. I use my faith in yeshua pray but I also feel I'm here to assist in healing others. I believe intentions reflect ones motives. If one's intentions are negative you no where it lies but if you are one of pure heart then it's not bad. Also as far as astrology. There are patterns that lie in ones personality that reflect in it. As far as extreme negatives they can manifest in readings maybe those who pursue those paths don't practice positive intentions but yeah.

There is no way that you are filled with the Holy Spirit and simultaneously doing demonic activities. That is one false message that seems to comfort us in thinking that Christ and His Holy Spirit indwells the person. I too come from a very religious background and ended up practicing so called "white magic." if you were to stand outside one of the meetings you would think it was a Charismatic Church.
