Ex-Warlock Discusses Dangers of Occult as Millions Celebrate Darkness on Halloween

Today, Richard Lorenzo Jr. is a Christian pastor - but that wasn't always the case. The ex-warlock was at one time embroiled in the occult, engaging in evil and encouraging others to do the same. All that changed when he accepted Jesus in 2019.
"I definitely was possessed," he recently told CBN Digital. "I was hearing voices - I was literally hearing voices." Lorenzo said he began dabbling in selling drugs, but when a massive drug package went missing, he became obsessed with finding out who took it. That's when he turned to a voodoo priest for answers. Soon, he was so enthralled with evil that he forgot about the package. The subsequent journey led him into the bowels of the occult, diving so deep into the abyss he gave up everything to study such practices.
In the end, Lorenzo started down a dangerous road. "I know I was possessed. ... I used to believe that the things I was doing were right," he said. "I used to believe ... abortion is right. ... I would convince people about abortion, convince people to get drunk, to cheat on their wives." Lorenzo continued, "I was literally working for the devil." But all of that changed when he found Jesus.

Play with the occult? Do you know what occult means? It simply means "that which is hidden". I believe in God our creator, this is no accident and I don't buy the frankly pathetic theory and non evidence we came from monkeys/apes. I have read a few occultists Steiner and Hall and have studied some of the symbolism which is all over the place not least in many of the religious establishments. I'm not going to get specific but you can see it. I found that researching some alternative history was very helpful in understanding what's going on. Wow, I went down that same path years ago. Everything he said about his experiences is true!! I almost went to Cuba from the U.S. to become a high priestess. I thank God I didn’t. The fact that the ritual required baby goats and pigs to be sacrificed was what deterred me. I was also raised in a Catholic household and over my lifetime I have dabbled in all different types of “spiritual” circles, with Santeria being the worst, in my opinion. Now, all I want to do is build a relationship with Christ. This Sunday I plan to attend a Christian church, got everything I need to study the Bible at home until I settle in with a group, I didn’t celebrate Halloween for the first time this year, and getting rid of all my tarot cards and occult items I have laying around. Read 1 Timothy and watch the pastors carefully at your church, ask questions to see if the pastors are men like Paul describes (in 1 Timothy). Many seeking truth *fail to find* 'cos they're easily led astray by worldly logic, high sensuality, vain imagination or specious mysticisms. I know; I was. I'm an ex neo-vedantic (hindu roots) new ager. I was into so much "spiritual" stuff: channelings, ancient wisdom, gnosticism, psychedelics, hindu gurus and buddhist variants. We've inherited ancient spiritual subversion: *the Earth is fallen.* The holistic fields of nature are fallen state. *Life kills and feeds upon itself.* Mankind is a spiritually fallen race highly prone to deceit and delusion. Frankly, we need a *Saviour* and by JESUS CHRIST we have a *GLORIOUS ONE*

God love you! Just now you mentioned your acid reflux situation and hernia. And, you also mentioned as to what it would do to the body with dementia. This is what happened to my husband, everything you just mentioned, and he passed away, but I had an encounter with Jesus that morning, and everything you’re saying about the occult is true, I had a friend who she was a missionary from South Africa years ago, and her ministry was in the ministry of deliverance. Very powerful woman of God who was brought here to minister to a doctor’s daughter years ago, haven’t listened to anything like this in years but thank you for sharing your testimony. So many people need to hear this stuff in the body of believers, this is nothing to play around with, we take this stuff so lightly in the Church. I just stumbled upon this testimony. Interesting but I don't believe in babbling saying its from Holy Spirit speaking in tongues is speaking a language that someone who speaks it understands. The diciples spoke in the languages of the areas they were in. I have nothing against those who do believe in that.

sarahs5340 I was one of those people, and was just a shell of a person. Having my identity all but destroyed by my pedophile father… I was diagnosed with Complex PTSD and Dissociative Disorder later in life, which does make life challenging. But I’m so grateful to God for the healing He started on me, which continues to this day… What the Lord has taught me and shown me so far, could not be shown to me through any wordly psychiatrist in a lifetime. We’re dealing with spiritual things as well when it comes to trauma… My only comfort is knowing the Lord has me, and He is a safe place and a refuge for times of trouble. I'm a believer but I feel like I'm in a chokehold, paralyzed, unable to do what needs done like getting dressed, making appts, I feel like I'm missing something. I barely function. I feel trapped in my body, like where Paul says I know whats right &wish to do right and yet I cannot, what a wretched human am I. Idk what to do. I cry bc I miss church but can't make myself go. What would you say I should do?I need freedom. I feel like a captive. I'm capable of more but can't seem to make myself. Self sabotage, deep depression, hopelessness and fear and I know that's not from God. Any advice?

Thank you for this interview. I came across brother Lorenzo’s KZbin videos a while back and I’m very impressed by his passion for the Lord and those caught up in the occult that need deliverance. It encourages me that my prodigal son will be delivered, in his right mind, filled with Holy Ghost and walking in his destiny with God. God prophesied that miraculous deliverance and people coming to Him was going to increase in a BIG way and the Prodigals WILL. One back!

Amen The Lord Healed me from seizures that I suffered from 20 years I am claiming that Jesus Will Heal me of my neurologic disease amd all over body pain that I am healed of tummy issues .. I think I know what spirits he is talking about when he says Cherokee spirits. I had a strong Native American spirit attack me when I was at my weakest.
