NFL players can make good NRL players.. but I think they need to start at the bottom to learn the game first...then slowly bring them up.. NFL drills are explosive drills so it won't take them long..

Certainly has the physicality and the technique for tackling and running is probably something that would come fairly naturally, and that’s a great place to start. Whether the finder points would be an issue down, the track remains to be seen, but it would be great to observe this exercise.

Good luck brother as this is great for expanding the game in other markets no doubt about it. But have you ever met Bronco and Malcolm yet coz there's no fitness like league fitness.

Stamina can be developed, but there is some important muscle memory to learn and most importantly, to unlearn. Tackling and running is very different with no helmet. He'll need to spend hours practicing safe tackling and safe running. Strength and power without good technique and muscle memory may turn a dangerous collision into a catastrophic one.

Great NFL Athletes won't leave, cause theres a big difference in $$$$$.. But if NRL can match the pay cheque, then i believe a shift would happen.

Kris is young enough to adapt, does he possess the mental toughness that allows him to stand up to the rigours of skin on skin physical contact? It's a simple game, hit the ball up, fall to the ground, stand up, play the ball..it ain't rocket science? better this form of the game than the complex rules of rugby & at times the cardio to sustain continuous length of ball play, mauls scrummaging..good luck to him..

The complex rules of rugby, maybe but that’s about the only thing memorable about that game. Any reserve grade league player would make the Wallabies no problem at all. Any Wallaby might make a reserve league team if they got fit enough. Dying game buddy

My expression was the easier transition to league than rugby..never said it was the better game..read the text..can't see the Forest through the tree buddy..away with the birds buddy? The state of Ozzy Rugby Union at the moment soccer players could make their team..but there could be a major upheaval with the appointment of Joe Schmidt that may peak your interest..might not happen overnight will be of a better standard than at present..something to think about when you having a coffee with the doughnut the Kiwis served up to the Kangaroos?..

@@user-fz7sq3vu2fNo. League players are more versatile (freestyle) whereas union players have their designated positions. In general league players are more fit so that's why I think they would make the switch with ease, mostly for the back rowers tho idk about props
