Shona people have never had problems with Ndebele people coming to Mashonaland. We actually "evny" them for being Ndebele speaking. Rather, it's most of the Ndebeles that deeply hates a Shonas.

I witnessed personally a Ndebele girl harrased by a hwindi in Kadoma
@Mukanya19752 ай бұрын
@JCTVAfrica It's hate to call them "Hwindi" just like the same calling a security officer "Mahobho or Mahudhu. Rather call them "Rank Marshalls". It's not true. The lady was harassed because she was a Ndebele. The Rank Marshalls does that anywhere you go. They make money for the people they load into commuters. Back to the topic of the day, you're a Ndebele, and I know how Ndebele men feel about Shonas. It's not true that she was harassed because of her Ndebele tribe. As a medium, you are a professional journalist. Try to bridge the gap and help reconciliation, healing, and oneness between tribes through your writing. Let your reporting be balanced. I am your follower, and I find you to be very controversial that makes me a bit uncomfortable with your journalism.

Dated a very beautiful lady from Zimbabwe. From the Ndebele tribe. No one ever discriminated against her in South Africa. She was my girlfriend and that alone was enough for everyone in my family and circles to respect her. That said, foreigners coming to South Africa must enter the country legally, obey the laws of the country, stay out of local politics and go back home before visa expiration. Simple.

One family doesn't like the wife because she is from Zimbabwe and that is evidence of the whole country being xenophobic. This is the most rediculous conclusion. My Aunt married in Zim for 22 years and lived there. The family never liked her, but at no point we linked that to her being South African. When the his died, they told her to leave the kids and return to SA. Because they were more interested in her husband estate. They had three properties, that they wanted. Its had nothing with xenophobic but they wanted the money her husband left her. Interestingly as a spouse to a Zimbabwean, they gave her citizenship, but she was never allowed to own nor buy land in Zim.
