Am a woman, so from my perspective, I think you should not be the one telling her to reach out to the kids, its her kids and her equation with them, do not ask her to come back and be very aloof (indifferent), miss calls and do FORGET to call back, make her miss home, its her loss, she is the one away and make her feel that you and the kids DO NOT need her at all and put up a happy front. She will be home in no time. Man, it's very confusing. Okay, we, men, need to be strong as a rock to handle women's different emotional states. For an example, if your girlfriend calls you skinny you handle it like a man and don't let it bother you. Sure. But to some people, it can be a form of disrespect.
