Immense respect for Mr Paul, but I disagree on a few aspects. I think his views on AIPAC money's influence is either calculated so as not to inflame, or naive. He even makes the point without taking the point - money buys media time and media time shapes perspectives and narratives. Money buys influence, and lacking money leaves one without a means to bring parity to that influence. If money buys air-time, air-time shapes perspectives, and perspectives drive votes, then *money buys votes.*

Cori Bush was NOT at risk before she called for a ceasefire and used the word genocide. What put her at risk was that the Israel lobby was able to buy an ambitious opponent to run against her. They failed to buy opponents to run against other candidates who also criticized Israel’s actions, with the exception of Summer Lee, who beat the opponent they ran against her. The Israel lobby spent $15M to beat Cori Bush, focusing almost solely on two criticisms, neither of which had to do with Israel and one of which was from three years ago and had not been an issue when she won re-election in 2022.
